“We’ve been here on our last visit to St Albans and having had a good experience last time decided to pop back in , exactly as we expected, excellent welcome shown to a very nice table ,drinks order taken and drinks arrived just in time for us to order our food . When food arrived it was very nicely presented and indeed tasted as good as it looked. Super place to eat , with good friendly staff , we will back in the new year and will definitely eat here again”
“Popped in for a late breakfast , bit of a wait as it was very busy but soon seated and staff soon attended and took my order , went for eggs Benedict, needing to satisfy my hunger and fuel me for my day , it was nicely presented and really tasty , and with a good cup of coffee it set me up for the day . Excellent service, super food well done to all . Will definitely be back again !”

“We had 2 mains and a kids meal that was offered free. The kids meal portion is tiny and is not sufficient. We also had the chicken shawarma that I will not recommend. It was very dry, slightly burnt and lacked any flavour. My main marinated chicken was decent and moist, but again lacked flavour. The garlic aioli that was given with it did not really accompany the meal well. We highlighted some of these weaknesses, particularly the kids meal, but there was no offer an additional portion. This guaranteed lack of more business from us.”

“4 of us arrived plus baby, I explained I had severe food allergies, I had the chicken skewers which came up cold, the waitress took it back. It was hotter but tastless, the salad had a dressing on it so was unable to eat. They said they were short of chiefs!! I'll never return to Bill's again”
