“Although I consider myself a competent DIYer I have never installed a heat pump before. This kit comes complete with everything you need, except pipe clamps, I would recommend that when you order this you also include a pack of Griplock No1 pipe clamps for attaching the pipe work to the wall. The instructions were very comprehensive and take you step by step through the installation process, if you need further help then search on Youtube, there are many videos showing you how to install these systems. I can thoroughly recommend these, they really do give out quite a lot of heat and produce very little noise, I shall be buying another one soon”

“This really is an excellent product. Almost silent in bedroom, compressor outside on vibration resistant mounts almost silent. Two tips: Do not insulate the condensate hose, the inside unit will not fit back on the bracket if you do. Also installation manual vague on where to connect mains supply. I connected mine to internal unit. Didnt work. Phoned cooleasy, they advised wiring had changed and mains now had to be connected to outside unit. Apart from that, best split unit I have ever seen at this price and build quality. Five stars for unit and cooleasy support.”

“I have never used anything like this before; like the vast majority of people I have always relied on mains gas and electricity for my heating, hot water and cooking. I recently had solar PV panels put on my roof, and wanted to find other ways of cutting my electricity use. This kit (it really does come with everything you need) was delivered very quickly - just a couple of days! The instructions were clear, but you can also download a complete instruction book if you feel you need more guidance. The hardest part of the job is drilling a 65mm hole through your wall to pass all the pipes and cables through, and in the end I hired a core drill (having burned out my own - admittedly cheap - power drill). The wall bracket for the internal fan is easy to fit and the only fiddly parts are the wiring and the fitting of the gas pipes. I needn't have worried, and if you are a reasonably competent DIYer nor should you. Take your time and check everything twice and all should fit per”

Prior to buying the unit, I called the technical help line a couple of times to clarify which unit would be best suited for my conservatory and then to resolve a couple of installation option questions. Both times the person I spoke to was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, concise and not at all pushy – exactly the combination you want when phoning for advice. Having decided on which unit and placing my order, delivery was very quick. Installation was also trouble free and easy. I had the unit up and running in an afternoon. Altogether a very easy and simple process and I would highly recommend Cooleasy to anyone looking for a heat pump or air con unit.”
