I can’t say that I’m a kind of person who puts much value on trading platform. I pay more attention to trading strategies. I think that all currently existing trading platforms allow to do nearly the same things. Nevertheless, I recognize some platforms may have a number of distinctive features that may give you an edge in some trading styles.
For example, cTrader is very suitable for news trading. It’s because news are very conveniently arranged to the left, in one menu with calendar, news, symbol,and dom. So, it’s very convenient to briefly view news and calendar when trading throughout the day. In Metatrader, the news section is below, which is less convenient to reach and it may distract you from trading.
Some folks criticize cTrader for no support for custom indicators, but I think that it’s a questionable thing because not all people need customized indicators.”
