“The course material was fine. I feel there was too much focus on background information on Big Data technologies outside of AWS. Given that this was a pre-req, I expected more focus on AWS specifics and less on background of Hadoop etc. The labs were a bit too sterilized. While they cover the topics, more involved labs that allow for a few mistakes and some experimentation would be better for learning. Also, the labs should be a cumulative targeted use case and build on previous labs. They sometimes felt slightly disjointed. My suggestion would be to either decrease the Hadoop / big data background info and spend additional time on more involved labs, or keep the content the same and expand the course time to allow for additional focus on more involved labs.”

“The labs and instruction session were good. However, I had communication issues when trying to receive my initial instructions on how to connect to my session, lab environment, receiving the headset & webcam and other pre-class preparations. It made the days leading up to the class more stressful than they needed to be.”
