“Joel was very clear and deliberate during his lectures and very knowledgeable about the subject material, I think he did a great job of delivering the information. The curriculum did a good job of spanning lots of different topics but it felt a tad rushed due to long lectures—maybe a better format would be shorter lectures over 1 extra day to allow more time for the information to sink in? Additionally while I'm assuming the labs were structured as pre-written code where the student would alter a few things because this is faster than the alternative, I probably would have learned more if they had me building things from scratch each time (Googling / looking up a handful of methods in the documentation and copy+pasting them didn't feel super educational).”
