“we live in a pretty rural area and new people move in and out all the time, i started using findsio mostly to check unknown callers and also scanned my email after a neighbor had identity issues, sometimes the phone results dont show a current carrier which is annoying and i wish it was clearer what data is older, but reading the angry reviews here feels unfair because it never claims to be live tracking, for public info in one place it does the job and keeps things calmer in my head”
“good for checking people out before meetings or dates. typed in an email from someone i met at a networking event and found their professional profiles plus some personal ones. helps you get a sense of who youre dealing with. only issue is sometimes the profiles are from years ago so you dont know if theyre still active”
“ive been trying to reconnect with an old friend from college and all i had was an old email address. used findsio and it found her current facebook and instagram so i could see if it was really her before reaching out. it was her and we reconnected which was nice. one thing though is the report also showed like 3 other email addresses linked to her that i didnt know about so i guess the data goes both ways. not complaining just surprised how much info is out there”
“my insurance agent sent me a birthday text but i couldnt remember his wifes name. quick search on his number and found his facebook which had her name right there. people appreciate when you remember family”
“not proud of this but things werent adding up in my relationship so i searched her email. found profiles i didnt know about including one on a dating app. we had the conversation and it turns out she made it before we were exclusive and just never deleted it but wasnt actually using it. couldve been worse but it did give me the info i was looking for. the reverse email feature is solid. price is a bit high if youre only doing one search but it is what it is”
“looked up an email my wife had been getting messages from. search found a linkedin and facebook but the photos were too small to really tell who it was. ended up being her cousin using a professional email i didnt recognize. accurate info just caused unnecessary drama”
“moved from texas to oregon and kept getting calls from my old area code. thought maybe it was someone i knew but the lookup showed it was just spam callers using local numbers to trick people into answering. smart but annoying”
