Very quick, simple and easy, user friendly site. Makes it easy to amend inputs, like additional drivers. The current offer to cover £250 excess on car insurance is attractive.

Not very happy at all done a quote put registration number in paid for insurance when documents came through in email car was not my car but reg was correct cost me extra £85 to change over

I tried another price comparison website and had a very poor experience of their recommended broker. Regret not using GoCompare first time round.

I tried other websites for my insurance quote but nothing came closer to Gocompare. This is the only website that offers £250 towards the claim if one is unfortunate enough to have an accident. This gives you an option to select higher excess thus making the policy cheaper. Filling out the quotation form was straight forward and easy to follow. There were lots of choices to choose from with clear info. I would highly recommend trying out Gocompare before you make your final choice of motor insurance.

Information requirements very easy to follow, prompt quotes and good follow up emails Made finding my insurance very easy Admittedly this was not my first choice but I got 100% cheaper quotes from this site than others Even from the same insurance companies

OK for Insurance comparison quotes; very lengthy online procedure; not quick; technical collapse of Lloyds & M&S sites when went to them for more details !!! : also I was phoned afterwards by a GoCompare rep who asked me ALL of the same insurance application questions again !! this took 23 minutes of my valuable time ! Then he had the cheek to transfer me to some idiot at an insurance intermediary (A...F... )who wasted another 15 minutes and we got nowhere. In the end i managed to access Post office where I finally got some help. EXPLAIN HOW I GET MY £250 EXCESS WHEN THE TIME COMES THAT I MIGHT NEED IT ??

They seem to be very competent but it is early days yet as this new policy doesn't even commence until 10th November. (todays date is 15thOctober). I just renewed very early.

I always use comparison sites for insurance and you are normally quite competitive however this year none of your quotes were realistic with the cheapest still being 60% more expensive than what I found elsewhere. Will check again next year
