“I am an adult learner. I enjoy my lessons with Hoffman Academy as they bring out my inner child so I have fun learning piano. I have a tendency to be very serious sometimes and you just can't be serious when puppets are talking to you and you are playing games to learn. I find it truly amazing that Mr. Hoffman could develop a program that gives a very solid piano education and yet make it so enjoyable. I appreciate that the lessons are laid out in a logical order so that each builds on the skills learned in past lessons. I really like that the practice sessions are structured so that I can just sit down at the piano and get started instead of trying to determine what I need to do during the practice. I find if I just follow the lessons and practices then I progress easily. I have a lifetime membership so this allows me to go at my own speed and not rush through, which is important to me since I have some medical issues that prevent me from playing/practicing at times. I want to truly learn all of the skills of the piano not just to play a song and Hoffman Academy is allowing me to achieve that goal. The staff are all great and very responsive to my questions. There is always something new to learn or get involved in, such as Summer Camp so you don't end up in a rut and become bored and you can do as much or as little as you want with the extra things and still make progress in the lessons. If you want to enjoy learning the piano, I highly recommend Hoffman Academy.”

And they are not hard to motivate to do their lessons most of the time. They love the lessons and are really learning to play, both reading music and playing by ear. Sometimes we have to break up a lesson into a few days when they have to many theory pages on one day, but that is my only complaint and that is so minor compared to all the good.”
