“Got this for Christmas. Was very difficult to see the fill line as its on the whisk in black and very small and unreadable. Filled it where family said too difficult for me to see Cleaned it, the bubbles and some water over out the lid with the lid still on. Cleaned the item and put the milk and chocolat in. Dam thing doesnt work now. Ive got blue light then nothing, red light then nothing. Google said the thermostat need re setting. Emptied the jug and chocolat- absolutely waste of one sachet. Cleaned it again. Same thing happened. Put new milk and in it and sachet. Dam thing doesnt work again. Absolutely waste of alot of money. Not had one chocolat from it. Lid has no seal

obviously doesnt fit well, and elements is not designed for any water spillage which is find odd as the kettle can manage. Seriously disappointing. Not wven had one chocolat for al the money spend on it.
Wouldn't waste your money or expectations. Now out of pocket.”
“terrible experience at Leicester store. I was sold out of date chocolates and when complained to head office the service to exchange was dreadful. Even with picture and receipt it was very poor as if did not want to take responsibility and all the work was on me to send back, then I get replacement. I suggest do not shop here and avoid Hotel Chocolat certainly not what they say customer focused. terrible experience..”
“I am a member of the Tasting Club and at the beginning of July I received a mixed selection that I hadn't ordered and didn't want. I know they said it would take some time but I have been waiting 3 weeks for them to post me a returns label to send it back. Until this happens I can't get a refund of the payment which was debited from my bank account. Their chocolates are superb but their customer service rather lets them down.”
