“I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, and I’ve been working in IT and cybersecurity for over a decade. I’ve always considered myself pretty sharp when it comes to spotting scams. Every time I pushed back, they had a technical explanation — well-written and convincing. It wasn’t until the site disappeared overnight that I realized the whole thing had been a trap. “I had been waiting for two weeks for a withdrawal to be deposited into my bank account. Although the company insisted that the transaction had been completed on their end, my bank confirmed that no deposit had been received, attempted, or rejected. After a thorough investigation conducted by both my bank's fraud department and Conquaero.co it was determined that there was no trace of the transaction. Fortunately, following the investigation, I was able to recover my funds successfully.”
