“I logon to the website every day looking for new articles and research mostly on the intelligent investor page. Also use My Portfolio to see how I am doing. Weekend reading is always the first thing I will read on the weekend. I finding Stock Take not very useful. Stephen Mayne is always entertaining. I will look at Nathan's funds as see how he is doing. I am not interested investing in his funds though as I prefer to go it alone. Some of the recommendations were hit and miss. EML/DMP/ANN/DUB/SCG/FDV. Especially FDV with Nathan hammering on about it. Many sell recommendations lately. Are we long term investors? Best buy were LOV/REH/JHX We missed PME/WTC/XRO on II which I bought. Are we too conservative? Yeah, 3 stars. Should do better.”

“The best in this business and others are way behind!! but thankfully not enough people know about this :-). Very clear reports with logical points. Also talking to few other competitors I am fairly confident that alteast one of them are copying Int Investor”

“Doesn't support my style of investing, except for stories by Allan Kohler. He is entertaining and generally useful, though not an expert on everything. In particular, CEO interviews might benefit from comment by a real expert in very technical subjects like Biotechnology, where the probability of success depends heavily on details that Allan is not familiar with. Don”

“I really enjoy the cautious, well reseached, and well reasoned approach to 'value investing'. Thank you so much for doing the hard yards. However, I am not sure your 'system' is currently nimble enough to avoid subscribing investors like me taking major capital losses, when some recommended stocks become notable duds: from 'hero' to 'zero'. These would include MME / MVP / EML / OBL / TPG, and AD8 - that has simply returned to around its initial recommendation price. I think there could be a much stronger and earlier 'telegraphing' of when a once 'fancied' value stock, and all those favourable metrics that went with it, is suddenly going belly up. I have alas been left with ALL of those stocks, some now sold at a miserable loss. Maybe I was not paying attention, but the first / the second / and the third rule of investing is "First do not lose money". Can you, as a smart and highly respected value investment stock-picking group, who I admire enormously, please now think more about how best to not lose money, on a once recommended stock? I would much prefer this, than all the new effort you are now putting into US stocks, which I personally am not interested in, and did not sign up for. “we have remained members of Intelligent Investor for 15 year specifically for their excellent independent analysis of companies. We rely on their Buy/Hold/Sell recommendations accompanied by Risk Levels so we can make decisions based on our personal risk profile without having to do all the analysis ourselves. When we first started out we found the psychology of investing & learning about value investing and how to develop a portfolio very helpful. We continue to enjoy the style of writing & humour the analysts use in their articles - whether it be a specific company or a broader topic. Investing isn't for the faint hearted; we have been caught many times with Risk Levels changing (for the worse) and/or the investment thesis crashing; but the successes obtained by being an II member have far outweighed these disappointments.”

“To be honest team, not SOLD on it as yet. I have been a member of Motley Fool for a few years now. Seeeems very similar AND there is nothing wrong with that at all, info is great. Although, do I need the two? $400 gets me into the dark side TODAY with MF again. Scratching my head. In your defence team, I haven't been ON IT as much as I should have been over the trial as I have been sick. Thanks for asking for the review though.”
