“Recently purchased an Indie 1 model tent which I am v pleased with. Easy to pitch and the fact that you can use your walking pole as the tent pole is great. A suggestion for future tents is to make the height of the tent 100 to 150mm higher. I think this would give just the little bit more headroom and make it a better tent. The extra material in the tent to do this would not add much weight at all. Otherwise it is a great design.”

The tent arrived in a day which was awesome. Pitched it in the backyard to see how it went as some reviews had it as a difficult setup. Once you see how the doors offset it is not hard at all. I really love the double vestibules as they are a decent size compared to my last two tents, the upright doors will also keep the rain from entering when you step in.
The second night was at a camping ground and it went up no hitches. It was a super blustery night and gave me a real time experience without the rain and once pegged down it was rock solid. I also use the ground sheet (Tracker 2) and found this no problem. I would prefer if it also covered one vestibule ground but not a major issue.
I have kept one star as I have yet to use it on a hike, but have two nights booked in the Kaimanawa Forest later this week. It will get the real test then and I will report back, so far, so good”
