“still waiting for my unlock, paid £14.99 then on check out charged another £3, 3 days later I get an email saying I am accepted to have my phone unlocked and then charged me another £129.00!! To date my phone is still locked!”
“Hello I used this website even though I saw a number of bad reviews however I paid for my iphone to be unlocked and it took more than 24 hours so I purchased from another website who unlock my iphone and I asked for a refund and no one would assist me in the return of my money”
“They claim to offer a SIM unlock service for iphones at a cost of £14.99 +VAT Once this has been paid they then try and charge an addition sum (aprox £70) and they refuse to cancel / refund the original order. Having dug into this company a little it seems they are using faked reviews on trust pilot etc in order to deceive people into paying the £17.99 and a lot of people have been defrauded. They also threaten to black list your phone if you report them to your credit card company etc.”
“Took my money. Waited for them to unlock my phone and they gonna respond and say they can't because I am still under contract. That is the purpose of getting a phone locked because it is under contract. if it wasn't I could get it unlocked for free. straight rip off, I would never use them again or recommend anybody use them”
“dont trust these scum bags especially emma, they lie to you totally unhelpful they just want to take your money and run.
they advertise they can unlock your iphone in 24 hours, bull.
thjey advertise unlocking at £14.99 then charge you a extra £3.00 then at the very end they charge you a £42'00 as release fee. they aint getting a penny out of me . they are fraudsters you have been warned.....”
“DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
iphoneapprovedunlock.com could not unlock my phone as advertised and promised, then refused to refund me after literally dozens of requests.
Furthermore, customer service agent “Emma” has threatened me with “legal action” after I posted negative reviews on review sites. Yes, I’m serious.
www.iphoneapprovedunlock.com is a scam”
“Made my request and paid the £17.99 and the details make it out to be the only payment. Email received saying approved unlock press the RELEASE YOUR UNLOCK. This takes you to an area requesting a further £52.79. Well they are not getting it. Their website / unlock request says nothing of the extra payment. 😡😡😡😡😡😡”
“I would not recommend anyone to use this company. Firstly it was advertised as £17.99 including VAT and 1-24 hour unlock. I was then emailed asking for an additional £69.59!!! I was shocked as nothing about this about time of order. I thought I was tied and needed my phone for business so went ahead as within 24 hours. I then heard nothing until 36 hours after original order. They were asking for further information. I was disgusted at this after feeling I had no choice but to pay as already placed order. I am now in dispute with them through PayPal!!! Shocking company”
“I've been waiting almost 9 months for a simple Cloud unlock of an old iPad 3. Repeated emails haven't worked, as I get no response, or told that it will be ready in 10 days. Months after that, they started on about a refund, asked for my PayPal account, so anticipated a refund. Nothing and more nothing. I need to find out how to go medieval on them.”
“They locked my into a 30 day contract to unlock my network locked iPhone 8 Plus.
I paid and 30 days passed. Phone had not been unlocked.
I requested a refund outside of my 30 day contract. They have strung me along for weeks now. Tell me they have raised the issue with customer service. I don't expect I'll ever get a refund.
Such a bad service. Would not recommend. Bit of a scam”
“Hidden charges. False promise of service for price displayed. Extra charges notification hidden in their terms and conditions. Have reported this site to UK trading authorities.”
“Really happy with this service, yes if your not the original owner of the device then they have to do checks on the device before release of the unlock, if you have the original number for the device you can use the standard Service which does not require the device to be checked, if your device is still in contract then the fee has to be cleared before release of the unlock, so make sure your device is out of contract, all in all very happy”
“I would give them ZERO stars but it isn’t possible. They are scammers and when they are unable to do something they will blame it on you to keep your money. I’ve worked all day to ensure and investigation has been opened on this company. Spend your money somewhere else.”
“If you expect 22$ to be the set price your wrong. I thought it was a cheap and easy service only for them to slap me a 209$ bill saying yep we can release your device now pay your bill !!
Avoid this website at all costs if you don't want to be ripped the heck off !!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Initial price low, didn't unlock phone, asked for more money, I paid it then I got refused a refund when they couldn't unlock it! Thieves. Got my money back using chargeback via my bank and also reported them to their merchant provider worldpay using https://www.worldpay.com/global/support/contact-support”
