“Excellent buying and delivery experience from Layer! Regular clear and proactive communication from Layer staff from the moment I placed my order right up until delivery. I was kept informed throughout and the delivery driver contacted me a day in advance with his expected arrival time (providing a one-hour slot) and messaged again half an hour before arrival which was really helpful. My mid-century teak sideboard arrived in perfect condition, exactly as pictured and described online. Beautiful! Very carefully wrapped too to prevent any damage during transportation. A really brilliant service. Thank you!”

“We ordered a lovely French mirror from Layer and were pleased with the product. Layer were quick to identify a delivery problem (with an external supplier) which caused a slight delay to the delivery date. They compensated me for the delivery costs which I thought showed a professional and customer driven attention to detail. I would recommend them to my friends.”

“I bought a gorgeous Richard Hornby cocktail cabinet from Layer recently. The condition was exactly as described on the site and it looks great in its new spot! Better still was the exceptional service that felt friendly, personal and authentic. Wouldn't hesitate to use again ... in-fact I have my eye on a few lamps :)”

“A standard frustrating morning made ridiculously better by Layer- thank you ladies. I was running late for work, I was running out of cash for the month and I was running out of time to buy my two mates a gift for their new home. My two mates love festivals, recycling and quirky clothes so I just didn't want to get something for their home that anyone could find from a standard shop on the high street. I couldn't go crazy cause my budget was pretty small but I only spent 10mins on Layer (typed 'vases' in the search bar and went straight to the sales) and came across this funky blue Moroccan style porcelain vase and a German red jug. Both were so original, but the blue won-it was beautiful and it could be delivered by the weekend. I was completely sold. That was my first ever purchase from Layer so now if I'm having one of those 'trying to be organised' kind of mornings but really want to find something unique and the piece has a history that I can tell a mate about or that they will appreciate the story behind it-i go straight to Layer.”

“Layer has such a fantastic range of products and there are always new things to fall in love with when you look at the website. My vintage chair was delivered on time, with no problems and were well wrapped to prevent any knocks and/or scrapes.”
