just now NEW Caerethin store, love the shop always got what I need, reason for review is staff member at checkout. Saw us waiting continued to wipe down packing area for a minute or so. Then no eye contact “ is that all” , “cash” or “card” “number” “receipt”. That was all what was said. My husband said a please or thank you might be nice to which we got a bit of attitude and looking at his colleagues laughing, following paying for my items as we were walking out he shouted THANK YOU! Other customers, staff and security guard were there. Rude!!

Please I want to warn my fellow people Iwent to Lidl shop in morriston Swansea purchased few items I knew my items was costing around £13.00.my surprise was changed £34.00 I did asked the lady to check prices again and she told me sorry I made a mistake but my concerns now is how many times are we being robbed at the Till please people be careful make sure you know the price and check the recept before you left the till she was multiplying my iterms times 4 people am so depressed. I am concerned why they ask you if you want your recept is it not that the customer requires their receipts I think we have been robbed for years Not checking our receipts Be careful people

I regularly shop at Lidl and Waitrose depending on the products I need. Lidl's quality and value is excellent and I just love their wine section. One issue though, that of public safety, is a concern. The Welsh Government website clearly states that facemasks are mandatory in all Welsh shops, yet when I approached a staff member today (Thursday 21st October) about the lack of mask wearing by a number of shoppers I was informed that masks were not obligatory.

Really bad attitude and aggressive rude manner by Kayleigh the assistant manager , in her position she should be setting an example. I've shopped here since the store opened but in the last few months every time this individual has served me I have left annoyed by her total lack of professionalism and manners. No please or thank you , no eye contact , throws your items through the checkout with contempt - it's like the customer is some sort of interruption to her otherwise important day. Shouts from the till for the next customer to load the checkout belt even though there is not sufficient distance between customers with regard to COVID. My advice to Lidl is to remove or retrain this individual and for her to be grateful that she has a job. I've now found myself using Aldi more frequently as I don't feel like a nuisance & the staff are much friendlier.

Lidl staff members at this store are always two faced, there is at least two to three staff members that have a personal issue when I shop there, considering this a local store and prices are fare, considering since the first lockdown one of the staff members was so rude about me helping a family member get their shopping, considering no one else ever has said anything, I can enter the store, pick and pay for what I need and if I dont get served by that person the staff member seems fine, but then another time, the staff member got another member of staff to tell my family member to leave the store, which he did but it was how they said it, again this was to due with the same person. The manager have see us shop at this store many times and as never said anything to us, before or during the shop, it only happens when they direct us to a till and we only every get serevd by that staff member. The latest problem was the other staff memeber coming up to us saying I dont want to see you shopping here again helping, I only help on the occations to help with items that are higher on the shelves or fridge, because I assume the staff members wont be happy me or my family member asking them to reach items, considering the covid sitution you need to keep your distance. This store has become a joke because I and family members get singled out, we can keep on getting a dig at every time we make a visit.

Bought some stewed steak from Lidl. In the past it has been quite nice, opened 3 tins (because I keep a stock in the winter) and all 3 were full of fat, gristle and big chunks of lard, completely inedible had to throw all 3 out, disgusting. Ugh.
