“some amusing comments in product description, easy web ordering with pictures. helpful sales staff on the phone and a good range of products, the reason we could not give 5 stars was price. we are forced to shop elsewhere for some products as price is too high by comparison. for example, a roll of tesa tape is 25% higher from Lion than a local supplier. We would like to be able to purchase it all from Lion but quite a number of items are too costly.”

“I am still waiting for my delivery (ordered on 10th July). I had a notification on the 11th that the goods were out for despatch. Left a signed note asking the Tuffnells driver to leave product in the greenhouse. Note still on door. Stayed in all day on the 13th, rang Lion on the 14th to be told the driver had run out of hours and they had misplaced my consignment. I was told by a very nice lady on the phone that the goods would be delivered on Saturday! the 15th. It is now Monday 17th and still no delivery. I have now lost my customer who has cancelled his order. This is not what I expect from Lion. Please sort your courier system out.”
