“Mostly good, very quick service and friendly staff. However, my screen does seem to be glitching a bit already. For example clicking on things i’m not pressing or rapidly scrolling up and down paces without me touching the screen. Hopefully the lifetime warranty they provide will allow me to ask this to be fixed, if so I’d definitely recommend the service but if not it’s very expensive for a service I could get somewhere else.”

“When my iPhone suddenly failed to keep a charge, I looked for a nearby repair shop and noticed the LoveFone at 23 Southampton Row had a 5-star rating, so I headed there--and found that the address is actually a re-purposed red phone booth very near the Holborn tube station. The staffer Fouad quickly and accurately diagnosed my defunct battery and replaced it and cleaned up the charging ports while I had a coffee next door. Took my card, instantly sent me an email receipt, and I was good to go; he even recommended a nearby felafel stand for lunch (also very good!). In short, Fouad provided absolutely first-rate professional service for me, so I can recommend his LoveFone location most highly.”

“Made contact with the issues I was having with my i phone, sent it to Lovefone who carried out a first class repair. Although I am around 600 miles away, postage was easy and I was only without my phone for a few days. Excellent service from start to finish and with a guarantee for the workmanship, couldn’t be better. Would recommend and certainly use again if required.”

“Took my phone to have the screen replaced ended up having to pay for a new microphone too as the technician said it was broken even though my phone had no problems with the mic prior. Was also told that I would have to bring my phone back in again to have a new battery fitted (even though I haven’t had any problems with the battery) and ever since my phone keeps dying after 1-3 hours use! Convinced they are breaking/swapping parts to make more money!!”

Dear Amber, I've investigated your repair with the technician that performed it. There are two microphones in the device one on the charging port used for calls (which was working) and one used for facetime and whatsapp calls. When our technician opened the device he noticed that the flex cable for the latter was cut, likely when you had the screen repaired with another company. He explained this to you and offered to repair it to which you agreed. He also offered you a battery replacement which you did not want so your battery was not touched. Your accusation that we are swapping parts is untrue. We pride ourselves on being upfront and honest with customers which is why we offer a lifetime warranty.
