“I went to the store on Saturday 9th March, I collected the items i required in my trolley and went to the tills. I asked the very surly assistant if a till was going to open rather than the self service element as I had quite a lot of shopping, I was told NO she hadn't got enough staff to open a till and they had been there since 4a.m. and hadn't had a break yet!! I reluctantly used the self service tills as it was either that or leave my shopping. But when I was almost finished she decided to open a till as there were 2 people waiting even though the self service till in front me was vacant. I said I was obviously not good enough to open a till for. NOT the type of service you expect from M&S. I assume I was not good enough to bother about and if the staff had not had a break perhaps something to discuss with a manager not make that a reason for bad service to a customer!”
“Showed up a couple of weeks ago at 7.05pm to discover shop closed.
When it first opened it closed at 8pm; then 7.30pm; now 7pm.
No warning. What happened to the usual M & S service?”
“I would like to thank and congratulate the manager and staff of M and S Gainsborough for the excellent service you have given during these difficult times. As a regular shopper I have felt safe while in the store.”

“The Christmas starter which was prawn starter which was for six people was a big letdown no bigger than an small eggcup no salad ,two teaspoons and it was gone
for the expense of £15. What a rip off.
I was not welcomed at the welcome desk although not abrupt there was an eiry pause .”
