“I visited Max Electrical as we found they had a good selection of Range Cookers in store to see. From the help and advice we received from Simon about the cookers through to Shaun who dealt with our order, which was no dearer than purchasing from an on-line company and actually receiving the goods we had excellent service. The two people making the delivery were friendly and polite and ensured we had got all the necessary parts before they left. Based on our experience I would highly recommend them.”
“Firstly, thought the shop as amazing for a small shop and the product knowledge was great as was the demonstration.
We returned after much product research with just a couple of weeks before our kitchen installation and we were once again explained to about different models of Rangemaster cookers. It was an easy decision so we established the pricematched tag of £2900, still had to pay £30 delivery but we made our purchase and was told around 4 weeks before delivery.
This was good timing so were quite happy.
Now 5 weeks later and the morning of our delivery and sure enough Max electrical turn up on time, brilliant, or so it would seem. Whilst unloading the cooker my wife noticed the ‘black’ label and we ordered ‘grey’. She alerted the team and at this point they asked to see the original receipt, implying that we made a mistake not them, and yes we ordered grey and it was wrong so they left the cooker hood and splash back and took the cooker away.
I was later called by them to be told that Max electrical have ordered the wrong one and the one we ordered will be around 4 weeks.
They claimed they tried to source another one from Rangemaster and other retailers but with no success so we just have to wait.
They called back to offer us a lower model, they steered us towards the one we chose and then they try to offload a basic model on us, to cover up their incompetence.
Now we have a half finished kitchen and I have to explain to the electrician, kitchen fitter, tiler, the granite templaters/supplier but worst of all my wife who has to live with this another four weeks. Planned to have 2 or 3 weeks disruption now looking more like 2 months. This was ordered, delivered to Max Electrical, loaded onto a truck and unloaded with no one actually noticing it was the wrong one. Shame on you Max Electrical.
I really wanted to praise them but this it a joke, not happy at all, the word sorry doesn’t really help.”
