“This company is the worst. Ordered two chaise lounges and a coffee table. Only received one lounger. Disputed with my bank to make sure they got the point. They finally sent another lounger months later and the wood changed. First was teak and natural, second was more like eucalyptus and much darker brown. Told them to send another and pick up the second lounger. They took about another month or two and it was also dark and different than first one, the color I originally ordered. I bitched about despite having tremendous patience and told them I would have to stain the original one to match the second and third. They didn't want to pay to pick up the second two that were wrong so they tried sending me another table but one that matches the darker chairs despite me not wanting the darker color. It arrived and of course was sane color as first so no matching sets of anything after 3-4 months. I finally agreed to unfreeze the bank dispute if they agreed to send another lounge cushion to have at least 3 chairs. They agreed but never sent the last cushion. So now the amount is going to be disputed again. As was agreed.
First chair was also damaged when arrived.
Total incompetence!!! Don't waste your time ordering from them, it is sure to be incorrect and a major waste of time!”
“I purchased a sofa from Minimal & Modern (M&M) for $979.67 by first making sure they could deliver on time for an event I was having. They assured me that it would get to me on time. The sofa was late after M&M had set the delivery date several times. When their delivery company, AM Trucking finally delivered the sofa, I inspected it in front of their crew, but it was damaged. I took pictures, and then the crew took the sofa back.
I called ‘Jeremy’ to request a refund but was on hold. Strangely, he texted me asking if I could email him because he couldn’t hear me. I found it odd that I never spoke to him as I was on hold, yet he claimed he couldn’t hear me. I texted him back to ask what he meant, but he did not respond. So, I sent him an email telling him the sofa was late and damaged; I did not accept the delivery, so the crew took it back. I asked him for a full refund. I have not heard from him again despite another follow-up email. I’ve tried calling several times, but I’m put on hold every time. No one ever answers, even if I hold for an hour.
They had their company headquarters’ address listed before, but I just checked, and it’s been taken off their website. It was a Casper, Wyoming address. I’ve searched for other contacts at M&M but to no avail. I did some Google searches and found a lot of people on various message boards complaining they were defrauded by M&M.
I’m out $979.67 while M&M has ghosted me. This is a significant financial loss for me.”
“Shady business. They had a sale on ottomans and I ordered some. I got a confirmation email immediately after purchase, another confirmation 24 hours later. The next day after that my order was canceled with no explanation. When I went back to the website the ottomans were still for sale but for $150 more than what I paid. If you call them you sit on hold for 10 minutes until it goes to a voicemail. Then they text you from a different number asking you to email. I repeatedly asked for a call and never got one. They emailed an excuse about a "glitch" in their system and that the items sold out at "the last minute." Don't bother with this site, they're terrible.”
“I waited almost about a year for my furniture and still hadn’t recieved it.
They kept saying because of Covid they had to push my order back about 4 times, no excuses I had never experienced anything like it.
I asked for a refund.

However, my experience with Minimal & Modern has been nothing short of perfect. I reached out to their customer service and they got back to me right away (on a few occasions). “Order took 3 months, delivery experience was the worst! I wanted to ask for my money back when I encountered what I encountered with the delivery people. So delivery took another 4 weeks, by the time this couch I got came, I couldn’t spazz out about anything else, until I opened up that box, and seen that small couch that look like it’s for toddlers! With everything I’ve experienced with this company, and their delivery people, I won’t be a returning customer sorry bye!👋🏽”
“Please avoid Minimal and Modern. They sell items that are not in stock and keep delaying by weeks. My order was lace on 08June2021, and they are now telling me it will be in stock on July13th and then 2 days to process and another 7-10 days for shipping. They have done this multiple times already. I don't trust it will even come in July. Now they are giving me run around to cancel and give refund.”
