If you go to Blackpool beware. You may be in the Norbreck Castle Hotel. National Holidays can’t value their customers to put them in a dump like this

Brilliant break in Isle of Wight. Steve our driver was excellent. Cheerful, courteous, informative, always in said place on time, with a great sense of humour. Good trips, although Alum Bay was closed till end of month (start of season) Hotel was acceptable, clean, and staff were lovely. All helped by glorious weather.

Booked and paid for a weekend away in December which was cancelled in January by national holidays Still waiting for a refund it's now 14th March Received an e-mail today saying be 6thMay before get refund Disgraceful service

I booked a trip for my elderly parents to go in March the company cancelled it and advised me I won't get my refund until 22nd April this is disgusting how they treat elderly people don't book with this company

Booked a show break online and they took money for 4 people instead of 2. Then rang to tell me they’d double booked the seats and would refund me but would refund half and for some reason the other £218 would be payed by cheque which I still haven’t received weeks later!! Can’t get through on phone,. The woman that I spoke to before was quite abrupt and wanted to sell me another date at £60 each more or I would wait and wait for cheque , this is nothing short of despicable !!!

Went to London to watch drifter girl show was great more than I can say about the company pick up point for my friend was moved from Dudley to acocks green fine for me said the would give us a refund for 20 pound the day before it was move to Solihull said they would refund us another 20 pound that was early December it is now February tried to phone no answer after a hour on the phone never will I book will you again just a bunch of liars my sister also had a bad experience went on a trip never got in to her room till 1 o'clock in the morning

Booked a theatre break paid to depart from South Shields. Due to circumstances I telephoned National and said I MAY be travelling independently to London.However National sold our seats and told us we could only depart from Liverpool which was absolutely unacceptable. What was worse was all the lying and changing of story when I complained. First it was the bus isn’t leaving from your area which was a lie because passengers were in our hotel. Then it was the hotel. We have been a loyal customer over the years but will not be using them again!

I’m gutted that I have had to write this but since the company has changed hands the customer service is none existing!! 4 of us had booked to go see the matinee performance of Tina Turner on the 27th of November the day of the snow! I managed to get to Wakefield bus station where were being picked up and my sister had traveled to pick our elderly mum up. The snow was that bad that they had to abandon the car. I was at the bus station and waited well over an hour for the bus to turn up, there was no one at all to contact. My sister, the original Booker, finally received a phone call at about 8.30 am to say the bus was about to arrive in Wakefield.. it’s was due at 6.40. We explained the circumstances and also found it hard to believe that the coach would make the trip down to London in time to see the Matinee performance. Since then I have sent 3 emails, tweeted and have tried to contact the company and yet I have no reply from any body. The trip for 4 of us cost £900. I’m heart broken!!

Horrid company, I will never book with them again or with their sister company. Booked to go on a trip for a family of four, had to cancel due to Covid-19, refused a refund by National Holidays and refused to change the name on the documents to allow someone else to go in our place, the travel agent had another family that could attend meaning that nobody would loose out financially but National Holidays refused to allow a name change - greedy company, not offering any flexibility, other companies are doing what they can yet a large company like National Holidays refuse. Disgusting.

Holiday to Torquay spoilt by the ‘trips’. Why do they drop you in middle of shops! Everyone complained don’t come on holiday to shop! Taken to Butterfly/Otter sanctuary at 10am told would meet against 2.15 for train trip at 2.45pm. Everyone bored to death. Arrived at Buckfast Abbey just minutes before closing. Trip to Exmouth - for ‘cruise’ on river Ex - awful wasted day, not worth going. Highlight of holiday was river trip in Plymouth - which we arranged and paid for ourselves! Driver not helpful, no comments before we left anywhere, and no comments whilst we drove. Saving grace was hotel lovely and entertainment really excellent. Shame whole holiday spoilt by awful trips!

London theatre trip all went well until we were going back to hotel the traffic was horrendous not the driver's fault but the hotel was in Croydon it was 9pm before we arrived food was ok for the evening meal but most of us were to tired to eat it.Breakfast was good but driver said we had to be out of the hotel at 9am so then into London for free time arrived 10.30am shops dont open on a Sunday till nearly noon.Left London at 3.30pm arrived in Middlesbrough at 10.15pm the driver was grumpy and unhelpful all weekend giving us no indication of what time to expect to arrive at different drop off .Sorry National holidays it will be a while before we use you again

Original hotel was cancelled so took us to Manchester airport hotel 6 hrs to get there the hotel Britannia was absolutely disgusting food appalling nothing for vegetarian but chips only 2 staff for restaurant there wasn’t enough seats in lounge area and you were trapped there because there was nothing around area never again Absolute nightmare

I just want to say, they have the worst website Ive ever been on. Ive been trying to e mail them all day, and all I get is email address not recognised ! Also, Ive rung them every half hour from 11am until 6-30pm and still no answer. What a shower!

Not informed of change of pick up at Stockport.When contacted told to get taxi (to be reimbursed)to connect with coach at Altrincham for trip to I.O.W. Hotel poor service rooms not up to standard.Letter to express complaint ignored.Sent recorded delivery ( has been signed as received but no response).Takeover of Company has proved a bad move in my opinion.Would not book with them again

It was a good few days away the driver Arian was very good with all aspects off the trip the only thing was we were late been pick up by 45min and it was cold and raining

My husband and I were booking on the phone for a holiday to Isle of Wight the first customer representative was extremely polite and was really easy to talk to. However when then paying the rest of the holiday the second guy “James” was extremely rude with no customer service or handle to speak to us in the correct manner absolutely appauling!!

My friend and I had a 2 day break in Stratford upon Avon at hockey house hotel had problems getting in our room card key never worked had to go to reception every time we wanted to get in the room had no choice for evening meal was told it was a set menu for our coach waitress rude my friend asked for ice cream for dessert but was told she would have to pay the manager said she could but didn't tell the staff when my friend complained when we left he just laughed was late getting on the coach to leave again had to go to reception to ask to be let in our room for our suitcases card didn't work someone came and let us in no remote control for television in the room no waste basket to put rubbish in and no plug for the sink . I have been on national holidays before this was the worst.

Had holiday cancelled. Refusing to refund money. Offered a voucher. In total breach of consumer law. Said I could claim cash back at end of July now changed it to end of September. Reported to various bodies Trading standards CMA.
