“Went to purchase a necklace using a £20 Pandora gift card as part payment. The assistant (assistant manager), using her nails destroyed the 4 digit pin making it unreadable, apart from a little readable bit of the last number. Promptly told to go back to where we purchased it and sort it out. Even Tesco where it was purchased phoned the shop and told them there was a number that has been heavily scratched. The manager said they didn’t destroy the pinand it could be used on line. Tried, but the pin is needed. The card is now useless. The card was for £20, but could easily have been a lot more.
