“We were very pleased with the work carried out which was to replace spindles, rail and posts on a landing. They were punctual, did the work very professionally and consulted with us every step of the way. They were also tidy and took care to cause as little disruption as possible as we were at home with small kids. They were also able to reduce the invoice a little as the cost of one part quoted had come in cheaper. He did not have to do that and we would not have been any the wiser, so impressed with their honesty and customer service.
Prior to the visit Mindus had been very flexible about the work date when we had to rearrange at short notice which was much appreciated. He also came to discuss a potential problem in advance on a Sunday which again we appreciated and were impressed with. “It's always difficult finding the right people to carry out work at home - even when they are recommended by friends and acquaintances. So often - it seems - one's expectations are raised, only to find that they are not met. In this case, however, we could not be more grateful to have been put in contact with Quatex.
From the very first meeting, we felt that Mindis totally understood what we were trying to do, so that he was able to make a number of very relevant and helpful suggestions and improvements - most of which we took up. They started the work when they said they would. They turned up each day on time (sharp at 7.30) and just got on with it - producing work to a really high standard. They were flexible and perfectly happy to make changes to the specification as the work (and our ideas) developed. Most importantly, they finished on time and came out £20 under the original estimate with an outcome far, far better than we had expected (or planned!).

The first job they did for me was installation of a loft ladder. I called on a friday and the job was done the following day.
Today thay have fitted 2 new taps, installed a new electric hob and replaced a light fitting.
