“I always end up choosing Radix meals on my multiday hikes. The food doesn't taste like cardboard, gives you adequate calories and nutrients, and the convenience of cooking/soaking in the pouch saves getting your cooking pot dirty!! Hinchinbrook here I come!!”

“This is the second lot of radix products that I have ordered to use for multiday hikes. I really enjoyed all the meals last time. The quality and taste is great. And they are nice and light! The service is great and i received my order in only a few days after ordering. Thank you! Looking forward to trying out this next lot next month on Hinchinbrook Island!”

“My husband and I trialed Radix meals on a 4 day walk on the Bibbulimun track in Western Australia, in preparation for walking the Larapinta track. We are very conscious of our pack weight as we are 60. These meals where very tasty easy to prepare and very light weight. We were very happy with our energy levels from these meals.”

“Given these aren’t fresh meals, I’m blown away by how good Radix meals are. The textures can still be a little weird, particularly for the meat dishes, but I’m more than happy to scrape the bowl clean!”

“Radix meals are the best hiking and camping instant meals I've tried. They're super filling, have no weird ingredients like some other brands, keep you full, and are easy to digest. The energy density is great ranging from around 4.5-6 kcal/g. I appreciate the wide range of plant-based options available as well.”

“Simply the best freeze-dried trail meals on the market. Nutritionally outstanding, great-tasting, very packable in a hiking pack and the ingredients list is natural and doesn't include a ridiculous amount of salt (they actually use spices for flavour!)”

“After many disappointing meals out hiking, I bought the Mexican chili beef to see if Radix was any different. Firstly the meal arrived very quickly so it was worth the fairly high delivery charge. I had the meal instead of preparing lunch one day and I have to say that I have found my new hiking meals. If the rest of the range is as good as the chili beef I do not expect to have any more disappointing end of day meals.”

“I was surprised how quick my order arrived from NZ, compared to deliveries in Oz. As a first time user, I needed to ensure the product would suit my needs in a soon to be very remote trip, with no supplies available for at least 2 weeks. The food was better than expected, and simple to prepare and served the purpose. So hence I’ve ordered more to meet my trips expectations.”

“Recently tried the whey protein and consider it to be the best I’ve had. I have an extremely sensitive tummy and so many protein powders are full of artificial and reactive ingredients. Radix whey protein sat well with my sensitivities and tastes very nice. Not overpowering and no aftertaste. Have purchased more!”
