“Love how I can get the files on my phone and can opt-in for getting prints sent to me as well. The prints are more paper quality than the typical Walgreens print you may be expecting. A lot of the pictures didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped but it could definitely be my fault as well. Overall, I will keep coming back to RFL and am satsfied.”

“I sent some film to be processed and then got scans rather than a printed contact sheet. When I opened up the scans I was surprised to see how grainy they are. But I have not yet made a print so it could be that that negatives are just fine.”

“Great! to have a dedicated team developing, scanning AND selling film in North Florida. Great website, excellent communication (email), they have a good app, and the development and scans were good. Turn time was ok, 4-5 business days, and I have to pay to ship to and from, so that gets a little pricier than I'd like. A mailer with one shipping rate for a round trip (film sent, negatives returned) would be great. Tried to call to check on something, and there wasn't a phone listing. So that was a little inconvenient, but they are responsive via email”

“I like the lab. they are quick enough. I wish they would incluide the shots that were overexposed so i can see if i did something wrong. I often only get 17 shots back of a 36 roll and it does discourage me from trying again because they wont send the full roll whether they came out as they like or not. at other labs they always at least show me. I did ask but was told no. other than that I like. video messages are only for the first time..”

Thanks for your review! All film shots that are on film are scanned and sent to our customers. We don't intentionally skip over any images, whether they are under or over-exposed. When customers receive back less images than expected, it's almost always due to blank frames on the roll of film where no image is there to be scanned. Hope this clarifies our scanning process.
