“Great week, nice swim stops and great food! Totally worth it!”

“Amazing adventure! Captain George and Eros crew were extremely helpful. My flight was delayed for arrival and Capt arranged taxi to meet the boat. Meals were delicious and plentiful. Crew took great care of us! Even relocated the boat to a quieter spot for more private lunch. Great swimming locations and fun times!”

“On the gulet Harmonia from August 18 to 23rd. Mixed feelings... We didn't go to Kassiopi our first stop on the program. We arrived in the harbours very early to Book our Space... then we had to spend the afternoon on board or on the beach when the crew offered to use the dingy (once, thanks to Mohammed), or in the villages where we stopped. It wasn't always unpleasant but we would have prefered to do more swim-stops in little creeks with nobody.... Some swim-stops were in beautiful places but overcrowded with hundred of people who were here for an hour. They left and other boats arrived... we knew that there are many tourists in Greece but on a gulet with 14 people, it's a shame to be in these places AT the same Time... The ladder to get out of the water was broken and it was difficult for everybody! The heat in the cabins was really difficult to bear (we sometimes had A/C until midnight) and we sometimes had the fan but when we had nothing it was unbearable ! Some of us slept outside! But.... let's be positive the crew, Mohamed, Faris and the Chef were ABSOLUTELY nice, helpful and pleasant. The cooking was local and delicious. The landscapes and villages were beautiful. The colours of the sea were amazing and we spent great moments with our Friends. We've already done other cruises in Croatia, Montenegro and the west indies, I think you can change some things to make your cruises better.”

We are very happy to hear that overall you had a nice experience on board our gulets and we hope to cruise with us another time, either on our Zante, or Athens cruise. In regards to your comments raised please find our replies : 1) During high season, and especially during August, unfortunately, every single bay or port is fully packed with multiple boats. We do understand that as a guest you might want a more relaxed and quote atmosphere, so we suggest you better to join us other months, like May, June or September, October. 2) The side ladder on our gulet Harmonia was not broken, just it does not have a wider platform for our guests to enter the sea. In any case, we will inform our maintenance team to check if they can install one, so as for season 2024 to be even better. 3) All of our cabins have a/c and fan and all of our guests have the option to pay the extra service if they wish, so they can enjoy a/c the entire night. Also the nights that our gulets are not docked at ports, our fans do not operate as well. Thank you once more for choosing Sail in Greece for your cruise holidays! The Sail in Greece team.

“Con un grupo de amigos hemos hecho el circuito de las islas jónicas desde corfú en el barco Harmonía el 18 de agosto del 23. La goleta era correcta aunque precisa actualizar los muebles de la cubierta y muy especialmente la escalera de acceso al agua que era peligrosa y difícil para subir.La tripulación fue muy amable y atenta. mención aparte el cocinero que nos dio una magnífica comida. La cantidad fue buena aunque el agua insuficiente .el capitán Lampros nos informó sobre los itinerarios diariamente, estuvo muy en contacto con nosotros pero aún no sabemos por qué se saltó la escala de Kassiopi .Las estancias en los puertos en relación a los tiempos de baño fueron excesivas especialmente el dia de vuelta a Corfú en comparación con las otras goletas de la misma compañía que no ibamos encontrando durante el viaje. La limpieza de los espacios comunes fue deficiente .Los camarotes estaban correctos. el aire acondicionado funcionó según la previsión excepto una noche cuando falló la electricidad. En general hemos disfrutado el viaje y los paisajes de las islas jonicas”

“We started off day 1 in Corfu port overnight due to late arrivals. So missed out on visiting one of the ports. The only time you have air conditioning in your cabin is when the generator is operating. This is generally during the day when sailing or when the chef is cooking. Sleeping in the cabins during the night is unbearable, almost to the point of impossible. There is hardly any air coming through and is quite claustrophobic. The majority of passengers slept upstairs on bench seats and sunbeds. We and another couple ended up taking our mattresses upstairs as there is not enough sunbeds to sleep on. During the night condensation came in and you find that you get extremely wet. We didn't sleep in our cabin at all and when we got back to corfu the last night, we jumped ship and paid for accommodation as did quite a few other couples. The Captain did try to offer the generator to be turned on so that we could have air conditioning at night at the cost of approx 11 euro per person per night of which the majority of passengers accepted. However one couple declined (therefore apparently the majority vote did not rule) so the remaining 22 passengers had to suffer at the expense of one selfish couple. The destinations and the food on board were both really good with magnificent swim stops. The crew were always friendly and attentive and quite aware of the predicament that one particular couple had caused. In fact the captain offered to pay that couple for on land accommodation one night so the rest of the passengers could get a decent nights sleep however they refused. The inability to be able to sleep (only getting 2-4 hours) had a flow on effect and people were exhausted by day 5 which unfortunately put a dampner on the trip. Initially there wasn't alot of information as to where we were going, for how long, meal times and swim stops but after contacting customer support on day 3, they clarified this over the phone so everyone could here and the communication board was updated daily. As mentioned the cruise itself was lovely, it was just a matter of no air conditioning hence no sleep for 7 nights.”

We offered you solutions that were not accepted by everyone, and this prevented us from moving forward.
