“The problem is the product (Merryn 1/4 zip). I have a navy one a year old made in China. The forest one by comparison has forearms which are significantly tighter and overall the material feels thinner (= cheap). The new one is made in India. I'm hoping the new Merryn will 'relax' ... but the sense from new is of corners cut fit-wise, and in quality. Overall I'm disappointed as my navy Merryn is a wardrobe staple. Both are washed at 30c on delicate programme, spun but never tumble dried, so it's basically down to cut and material. Happy to compare a replacement if I've got a rogue 'bedding down production' cut.”

“I have recently bought both the Lyndon and Belton gilets and would recommend them both. They are warm and lightweight and versatile. Scoffel clothing is really good quality clothing and they have good customer service with speedy delivery.”
