Excellent service from Sherpr and the team. The process was pretty simple after a few questions on my shipment of 11 boxes and 2 suitcases to the south of France. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I sent 2x luggage to the south of France last week. Pick up happened a day later than planned but customer service were aware and prompt to get in touch at the end of the day. Luckily it arrived a day earlier than planned so all was not lost. We will certainly be using them again!

This company is a nightmare. I bought a brand new suitcase to use (ok fine I expect some damage). The suitcase arrived destroyed- see photo. They have insurance up to $3000. So I initiated a claim. It has been handled ineptly from the beginning. Nothing happened, I’ve had to request help multiple times, they then issued a call tag for my damaged suitcase which means they come and pick it up- wow thanks. Usually the damage is inspected but they don’t take the damaged item. So they picked up my destroyed suitcase and I haven’t heard anything since. NEVER use them.

They lost my luggage. They did not apologise or help. They promise updates and then ignore you. They don't offer compensation for things you have to rebuy. I would never, never use them again.

We sent some luggage with Sherpr to Malaga for our family trip. We decided to do it due to the issues with the airports/airlines and we couldn’t have been happier with the service. Simple and reliable, never again will we be taking our luggage on the plane 👏

While the employees of Sherpr (Lucy, in particular) are most attentive and helpful at the start, my experience with the service itself has been bad. If you are shipping from anywhere to Italy, I highly recommend not using Sherpr. Two weeks out from having shipped two boxes of used clothing (for myself) to Italy from the US, my shipment is not in transit with customs but has now been sitting in a warehouse somewhere near Venice for over a week and with no sign that it is on its way for delivery. Being that I need to be here to accept delivery but have been given no delivery date, I'm unable to make any travel plans, or any plans at all, until I am told when delivery will happen. Paying $360 to have two boxes of clothes shipped with, after two weeks, no sign that they will be delivered anytime soon, isn't appropriate. In hindsight, it would have been better to have brought the additional suitcases with me on the flight. I might have paid a bit for the extra baggage, but it wouldn't have been $360, and I would have some clothes to wear.

Needed to ship bike back from Nl to UK (Eurostar still not accepting bikes). It was sort of last minute, and I looked into several options. Sherpr was the cheapest and able to accommodate me with just one days notice whereas other options could not. I called to get a few questions clarified about the documents, and was able to reach someone by phone to explain. They delivered one day late (due to easter holiday weekend) but no complaints from me. I'd definitely use service again. Note you will need access to a printer, and preferably some plastic sheets to put documents in on the outside of the box (I used some old ziploc sandwich bags, and they seemed to work out). Thanks Sherpr for coming through! CB, Portland, USA

A company you cannot trust. Everything looks smooth and fine with them..... but surprise, when there is a problem they don´t help you with anything. I shipped a mountain bike with them. My mountain bike was shipped via FedEx and it arrived 2 weeks later when they said 4-5 days later. I haven´t claimed this, however, my bike arrrived damaged. The surprise came when they didn´t help me at all, eventhough I paid extra for an insurance that was meant to cover the whole value of the bike. I haven´t claimed the whole price of the bike, only the damaged items, and Sherpr did nothing but finding excuses. I provided them with tons of information and pictures and they only wanted to find excuses not to help me. Two weeks later after the claim process started, they only said to me that they cannot help me, so I had to paid myself for the damaged items and the repairs. Thanks a lot Sherpr, I won´t trust you again.

Do not use! They are a complete scam and cost me no end of money!! I had to pay huge sums of money to get a customs broker in Australia to sort out the mess they have caused. I will NEVER be using this services again! I was notified that my suitcase was picked up from the UK on the 15th December 21 and that it was on it's way to Australia and was due to be delivered on the 23rd December in time for Christmas. I got a call from customs in Australia telling me that my suitcase was being held at customs and I would not be able to receive my items without paying for a customs broker and would be subjected to holding fees and quarantine charges. Sherpr lied to me and told me that Fedex do accept unaccompanied effects and that the hold up was due to a restricted item in my baggage so they did not have to accept responsibility, however, customs and my broker have told me that this was never the case (also see image attached with proof)! Fedex in Australia also confirmed to both myself and Sherpr that they do not clear personal effects and that Sherpr should have never picked up my belongings in the first place! Sherpr are taking absolutely NO responsibility for this and do not know the laws in Australia regarding incoming shipments. Sherpr also have left it entirely up to me to sort out and stopped responding once they knew they were in the wrong! I will not be getting my belongings until after the New Year now and I have hired a no win no fee lawyer to get my costs and damages sorted as they were completely negligent and failed to deliver a proper service.

My boyfriend and I sent close to 20 items of boxes and luggage from Manchester to Singapore for our relocation. I was worried about the paperwork but Sarah from Sherpr helped guide us through the process which made the whole shipping experience simple. 5-stars+

I was told my collection would be between 8am - 6pm on the 13th of August. I chose this date as it allowed me time to pack while also being able to see my own shipment off and have peace of mind before I left the country on the 16th. I understand this was cutting it close, but I figured there’s no reason they wouldn’t come on the day I had selected. I then spent all day waiting. Nobody came. NOBODY FROM SHERPR or the shipment company contacted me or called or emailed. There was 0 communication. I understand they are closed weekends, but my shipment was meant to be on Friday and they work on Fridays. There is no excuse for the lack of communication on their part. The clear lack of contact between Sherpr and the shipment companies is a cause of concern to me. I ended up leaving the country and having to be an anxious mess about when my shipment would be collected. I had to phone in favors from friends to see who was available to handle my shipment if nobody came to collect, which is less than ideal. The new tenants in my old house then had to spend all day at home and change their plans for the day when the shipment was eventually rescheduled. The way this collection has been managed is unacceptable, especially with how much it costs to ship items. They advertise “hassle free travel”, and my experience definitely wasn’t hassle free. Their user interface is easy to understand, but when I complained to customer service I barely got an apology for the stress that was. It was a ‘sorry’ followed by “your shipment is in transit now” as if that makes up for how frustrating the entire ordeal was or how terrible the customer service was at the time. Prior to this happening, customer service was great, with constant updates. On the day of collection? Nowhere to be found. Again, I understand I was cutting it close, and that it’s a good thing the shipment was reorganized, but just the fact that nobody communicated anything is worrying — and its ridiculous they would give me the option to pick the date if they aren’t going to respect it. Additionally, I spent money on flexi cover to be able to change the date in case something happened. What was the point of this if they were just going to change the date for me? Your time as a customer might mean very little to this company. There’s no excuse for how badly this was all handled, the lack of any type of compensation for this kind of thing when you’ve paid for cover and just poor customer service on the day of collection.
