Overall I’m really pleased with splosh and use a fair few of their products. The washing up liquid is my favourite. Also really pleased with the hand wash and kitchen cleaner. I like the pouch system and waste reduction goal you guys have and wish more people would use splosh. The toilet bowl cleaner smells lovely but doesn’t do a particularly good job of cleaning my toilet bowl so I won’t be repurchasing any refills for that I’m afraid and will buy a refillable alternative at my local plastic-free shop. Also I like the app but I never really seem to have an option to review my basket before purchase. For example I’ll have 3 things in my basket but all I can see is a number 3 with a basket symbol. Then when I click buy, that’s literally it - transaction done. No chance for me to see if I put something in my basket by accident for example. I think a ‘review order’ page should appear when people click to buy. Overall a good service, well done.

Love the whole ethos behind Splosh. Only used the handwash so far - works well and has a great smell.

I have been using the non biological laundry liquid for a few months now. As I live in a soft water area I have always followed the instructions to top up the concentrate with a little water and shake well before first use. This time I was left with a gloopy lump at the bottom of the bottle which would not separate out. I finally put the whole gloopy lump in the machine and got the cleanest wash I had had for a few weeks. It would be preferable if there were no gloopy lumps at the base of the refillable plastic bottle. I think I may need to use more laundry liquid than the standard cap dose to get really clean textiles and may need to dilute the concentrate further to avoid the gloop.

Hi Janet, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear this about your laundry liquid. This very rarely happens but if it does it may be because it is being stored in a cold place? We do recommend storing our laundry liquids at room temperature. Of course if you have any further questions or need any more help please do email us at hello@splosh.com Thank you.

I love the idea that they are made locally and am very happy with the products I have bought. As a single person they are priced well and easy to store and use. I have recommended them to friends and family and even let them borrow products which have never been returned so they must be happy too!

I really like my Splosh products - they are effective at cleaning, last really well and do help with reducing the amount of packaging I use!

Was very sceptical when I ordered my 1st washing up liquid because, like most people, I've always gone for a market leader - I'm so glad I made the change and its permanent now - I'd never go back to the single use plastic bottles - this works just as well as the leaders - my only criticism is that, Instead of ordering a splosh bottle I decided to re-use my old washing up bottle but its hard to judge how much of the pouch to use - they don't give a specific measurement on the pouches because their own bottles have a marker on them so I have to add more or water down accordingly - but love how they clean, the smell, the price is excellent and the fact that the pouches are recyclable - well worth the swap

Hi, We feel that Splosh Customers should have the choice to use their own bottles and we welcome you doing so. Details on how to use our refill pouches when using your own bottles can be found on our website under FAQ (see bottom of website page). love the green issues of low packaging, direct posting, refill packs. I feel it is bit expensive so we tried the taster pack and buy the products that we were most impressed by. It is a step in the right direction to steer away FROM THE BIG BRANDS

The washing up liquid is AMAZING. I’ll never go back to shop bought. The washing detergent liquid was ok but isn’t ‘dilutable.’ By the end of the first bottle we had a snotty remnant of yukiness where it had separated. Stopped using when we realised that it wasn’t cleaning my husband’s shirt collars (he’d never had grubby stains in the neck before and had been in current job for three years with new uniform annually). Fabric softener does the job but doesn’t smell as strong as I like for winter scarves and jumpers - May go back to it for Spring. Hand wash is lovely. Toilet cleaner smells delightful and leaves the bowl shiny but I need a limescale remover so can’t continue with this. I was disappointed to receive so much bunf when I made my first order. The pack should be optional - what a waste, I had read all the information on the internet before ordering.

Great concept, well executed. Also a fab counter of how many plastic bottles you've saved. Love it.

Fab products, amazing customer service. Only thing I would say is I still find it a little expensive to sustain washing clothes wise. So having to alternate with another powder in cardboard box. Would love to keep using and alternate with your powder. We do a huge amount of washing so needs to be cost effective as well as environmentally friendly.

Good products, smell nice and do the job well considering they are natural products. I use the washing up liquid, clothes washing liquid and fabric softener, hand soap, kitchen and bathroom cleaner. Delivery is quick and empty packs are easy to return.

I tried only a few Splosh so far, attracted by their concept of reducing plastic for cleaning products. I like the quality of what I bought and I especially like a spray kitchen cleaner. I think I’ll continue to buy that. For other products though I have found cheaper and equally if not greener substitutes.

Splosh was recommended to me by a friend and I'm very happy that she did. The products I have used so far are wonderful - they have lovely scents and the refill process works exactly as stated. The website is clear & easy to use and orders are dispatched promptly.

Love the ease of ordering, fast delivery and well designed refill containers. Only negative is that some of the products I don’t feel are good enough to make the permanent switch. The washing up liquid and toilet cleaner are good but the fabric conditioner is expensive and the smell of either isn’t great. The shower gel again the smell isn’t strong enough or good enough to get my husband to use it. The cleaners products seem great but a shame about the others.

Very pleased with most of the products that I have tried and it is so good to be helping the environment. Can the pouches be recycled? The packaging is brilliant-all totally recyclable.

Thank you Janet for your review. After use, collect eight pouches in a refill box with their caps left on. Put the first four in flat with spouts pointing to each corner. Fold the next four in half and place in the box with their spouts pointing out. It’s a bit of squeeze – but they do fit! Tape the box and send the pouches back to us using a free postage returns label (which contains these instructions). You’ll find returns labels in washing up liquid and toilet bowl cleaner refill boxes but you can also request one electronically at hello@splosh.com (Just to let you know as well that our laundry powder pouches are home compostable too!) Your pouches will then be re-made into new products (such as an ice scraper) in what's known as a "closed loop system". The new products retain the colour of the pouches and, when they've reached the end of their life, they can in turn be re-made back into new products. All new products will be sold from the Splosh website. This is truly the circular economy in action, as the total plastic waste from this process is zero. We hope this information is helpful.

When collected together, it becomes economic to reprocess them and we have partners to do this. Easy to order refills and I am surprised and pleased how many bottles I am saving. Products are good apart from glass cleaner which I find less effective than alternatives

Hi Corrinne, thank you for your review. With regards to the glass cleaner we suggest spraying the cleaner onto the surface and leaving for a couple of minutes and then use a damp clean cloth. We hope this helps.

Always been good, delivered quickly, good prices, nice smells! and saves using plastic bottles, more available to anyone being online, as dont need to live near a 'zero waste' shop or similar to reduce our plastic :)
