The rest of the condition was very good, so I contacted Alan who said he thought it was listed incorrectly and agreed to try and source a grade A. Sam contacted me a day later and said they were struggling to find one with the spec I wanted. So Sam suggested to give a contribution and a free laptop bag if I wanted to keep the MacBook. It has cracks on both ends where the hinges are and marks on the front edge at both ends of the laptop, so I am hoping that nothing goes wrong with it. The two hairline cracks on the lid are very common on this particular model of MacBook as it was a design flaw with the lid when Apple produced them, it won't affect it in any way apart from appearance, so rest assured it hasn't been dropped, this was a grade B item but you do have a warranty of 3 months in the unlikely event should there be any issues.

Hi, there should be an option to downgrade to Windows 7 again if you Google it, we don't currently advise people to upgrade to Windows 10 as it doesn't fully support some hardware on laptops that were designed for Win 7.
“Delivery was not as smooth as the Laptop Centre suggested it would be. I had to make a number of phone calls to various despatch offices before the package could be tracked down and delivered.
The laptop was pretty much as I had expected, although I was disappointed in the low intensity of the screen, and the very short life of the battery (about 1 hour 30 minutes). The laptop I bought (Lenovo X220) had one of the longest battery lives available when new, around 8 hours, and I was very disappointed to find it had dropped so much after only 4 or 5 years. I have been using an MSI laptop on a daily basis for about the last 6 years and it's battery life has only fallen by about 30-40%”
“DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS LOT. The initial response to my query was fine, but they promised the earth and delivered zero. They have now merged with another business - Portable IT. I spoke to very rude individual there who blocked any attempt by me to explain my concerns, and essentially blamed all my problems on me - the customer. They have an automated email reply that promises a response in 24 hours. Their score against that target so far is also zero. Be wary!”
