“The wrong address was printed on my order confirmation by the Ratchet Shop online order system. I e-mailed and telephoned to inform them. Paul said he would get someone to phone me. No one did phone me. I did not get a reply to my e-mail. I phoned again and Michael corrected my address. I chose a 2 to 5 day delivery and it took 4 days to receive my parcel, which is within the delivery schedule but the supplier is only a 2 hour drive away. I consider this delivery time to be too slow as the supplier is so close. Too soon to comment on the product yet, I want to see how it performs.”

Hi thanks for taking your time to send us a review. Apologies that noone got back to you sooner over the change of address The Homecall Hermes delivery takes up to 5 days. Hermes works in a very different way to DPD our next day courier. The parcel is collected by them at the DPd warehouse and then is transferred to their hub, all of which takes time. The fact that you are near to our offices doesnt make this any faster as the parcel passes through various stages to get to you.

“Excellent experience from start to finish. Ratchet straps are of superb quality for the money and the delivery was prompt. Could not have asked for better! well worth a visit, i would find it hard to be dissapointed with any aspect of the overall customer service!!!”

“Bought first time recovery truck with minimul knowledge.needed rachets & chockers.. searched all most every shop eg machine mart.screwfix.halfords.argos Many more online dooont waste your time. Rachet shop was far the cheapest for the quility. Strength & prise. Xxx £50 quid to my door well done rachet shop.”

“I would have liked to have given very good but I had to cancel my order. I ordered from you as I have only just set up my business and got work quicker then I was expecting so the offer of next day delivery was brilliant. The next day I checked on the status of my delivery with DPD and it said it was on its way later that morning I received an email to say it had been delayed and it wouldn't be delivered until Monday. I rang yourselves and the man I spoke to was really nice and he rung DPD to see what the problem was and he rang me back unfortunately I had to request a refund and pay more for the ratchet straps that I needed.”

“The order was processed and despatched very quickly. The ratchet was well built and works as expected. However they used Hermes for the delivery and they were very slow - 4 Days from Sneterton to Henley-on-Thames.”

Hi David Sorry to reply a bit late. Many thanks for taking the trouble to submit a review. The Hermes option takes 5 working days and has a less detailed tracking service. DPD who are our usual couriers were happy to integrate with Hermes to offer a cheaper delivery option. We are constantly looking for better postage costs but its proving quite hard to find cheaper alternatives especially as Royal Mail have just put up their prices best regards Ann

“7 Days after ordering, I am still awaiting my order. I'm so glad I paid the extra for next day delivery!! The customer services department are so busy looking into this for me, that they cannot spare the time to answer my messages regarding this. But fair play to them, to save me getting bored whilst waiting for this parcel, they informed me that DPD (Parcel Delivery) had lost my parcel in transit. After waiting in many telephone queues and chasing this up, I find that the parcel was never actually given to DPD, which their tracking information and customer service have confirmed. You almost had me there!”

Hi Mike Thank you for your review. I am not sure who at DPD has responded to your call but the information you have been given is in fact incorrect and you parcel was lost by them and a claim has been raised. The moment you informed us that you had not received your parcel I called you but with no answer I sent you an email to say these items were now not in stock so we could either refund you in full or send them out on Wednesday this week when they were back in stock. You informed me last week on the 6th March you would not like a refund but these items to be sent out when they came in which is as discussed this Wednesday 11th. I have not heard from you since so I am not aware that I am ignoring you or stringing you along in any way? I have tried again to call you today but there is no answer on the mobile provided. I am sorry you are not happy with the service this has been an unfortunate set of events and 99% of our parcels are delivered on a next day service. I will refund your order in full to your card now. We are sorry that we were not able to fulfill your order for you we try our best and as you can see with our 4.8 out of 5 feedback we almost always get it right.
