In the quiet town of Reading, Berkshire, a new chapter was about to begin. In 2009, as traditional publishing houses were becoming increasingly selective and restrictive, a vision took shape that would transform the way authors brought their stories into the world. Barnes Publishing was born from a desire to shift the power back to the creators, to allow authors not only to publish their books but to do so in a way that kept them firmly in the driver’s seat.
