“I've Just completed the 5 day tiling course at Uk pro tiling and I have not been disappointed in the slightest every day has been a challenge but an enjoyable one. I decided to do a tiling course as I am a plumber and it would mean I can do full bathroom installs as well as tiling so I started to look around on the Internet for courses near me and there wasn't alot About & if there was they wasn't offering much for my money and filling me with confidence. Soon I come across UK Pro Tiling and after looking and doing a lot of research even though I knew I'd have to travel & stay over for a week as I was coming from Liverpool to train at UK Pro Tiling I decided to give them a call to get as much information and details as possible, from the first phone call to the last Tracy was fantastic and very helpful, telling me everything about what the training involved to helping me find accommodation for the week . Darren's training skills and knowledge is second to none.The course moves along fast and each day you'll be learning something new, by the Thursday you've completed a bathroom with a centre piece.The business side of it on the Friday is essential to learn and Darren gives a brilliant insight into how to find work where to look and how to conect with people and customers Over all this course is everything you need if you looking to get into tiling. I would recommend to any who's thinking about doing this course to do the 5 day minimum. The natural stones day on the Friday is so important You will not be disappointed Thanks again Darren & Tracy for making my week enjoyable”

“I can honestly say have never been on a course like this in my life. Everything about the course was fantastic from being to end. “I went on a 9 day tiling course with Darren and Tracey after the threat of redundancy at work. It turned out to be the best thing I could have done. I actually got made redundant while on my course and that threw my head off from the course, But Darren and Tracey where extremely reassuring and got my head back in the course and spent that extra time to make sure I was back up to speed and that everything I had learned from the first week wasn't lost because of the redundancy worry. They both went above and beyond to make sure I got 100% benefit from the course and are just a phone call away should you ever need to speak to any of them. Regarding a job or a problem you make encounter while on a job. I can't thank Darren and Tracey enough for there and help and support during my time on the course. I look forward to popping back in for a catch up. 100% just genuine people. Thanks Darren and Tracey.”

I don't think you will ever realise just how much of of a difference you have already made to my life and indeed my family's lives, our future will now be very different. I arrived on the course wanting to learn to tile and I left the course wanting to run a business, and not just wanting to, but knowing I can. I can't thank you enough for that. I can't wait to get out on my first job and I will defiantly be intouch for any advice I need and to let you know how I get on with it. “I attended a 9 day tiling course in April 16 and it's the best thing Iv ever done. From the first day I enquired about it Darren and Tracey have been so helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't think it was possible to learn so much in a short space of time. It was a very intense course, Darren made enjoyable and very easy to understand. It built my confidence and now I am a self employed tiler. Darren and Tracey are always there for any help and advice after finishing the course which is invaluable. I can't thank them enough, it's changed my life.”

“I was looking for a career change and came across UK pro Tiling Training, I rang Tracey who was exceptionally helpful and listened to what I was looking for, I ended up doing the 9 day ready for work tiling course. I travelled over 200 miles for the training which was well worth it. I have been on a lot of training courses through the company I work for but this training delivered by Darren was at a level I have not seen before. The tiling course was very intense and straight to the point covering everything there is to know about professional tiling no messing about and a well structured course to utilize every moment for learning. Darren has been self employed for over 30 years and was willing to pass all his tiling and business knowledge onto the class, his passion for teaching and getting the correct methods over to you was fantastic, It was unbelievable how fast the days go as you are constantly active tiling the set projects given and it was amazing the standard not just by myself but that of everyone on the course. The course comes with a full pre typed up manual that will be a god send once I get out tiling, it covers everything you need to know about products, adhesive selection, background preparation etc, If you are thinking of starting a business then this course has it all, from how to choose a name, keep accounts, pricing jobs, measuring jobs, there is really to much to list All in all I have nothing but praise for Darren and Tracey who own the business, they take it personally and try their best to help you succeed. I find it hard to believe how any other training centre could better this one. I have phoned Darren up a few times, (both times after 6pm) after leaving the course for advice and he has been more than helpful in taking the time to answer my concerns, definitely worth the 5 stars given. “I attended the 5 day course in May 2016. Never in one working week have i learned so much. Darren is not about getting you to tick boxes. He shows you and explains how to tile walls and floors to the highest standard. Also drumming into you the business side aswell. He makes you believe in your ability. Even if your not the best or fastest of learners, you feel equal because everyone is treat the same. Darren talks to you like you are a person and not just another trainee on a course. He has belief in everyone who attends the course. Its a very hands on course. You dont get a minute, constantly learning something else. Things that are explained are endless. From what tools, by which manufacturer. Different adhesives, and why to or not to use them. Where to purchase them, where not to purchase them. All in all its a very head bending course that will make you wonder how you just learned so much. You will also be comfortable in the fact you could walk away and confidently start tiling for a living. I dare not forget to mention Tracey. Who is where it all starts. She will make you feel more than welcome, tell you the options of the course. Give you advice of where to stay for your duration. Nicer people you will never meet. “Big thanks to Darren and Tracey. The course is an intensive hands on tiling course which learns you everything you need to tile and also be a business. Some aspects covered were Measuring and setting out. Preparation of surfaces. Types of tiles. All the cutting techniques. Applying tiles to walls and floors. Adhesive and grouts. Marketing. I would advise doing the 9 day advanced course as a minimum as a confidence builder. 100% worth every penny. Already paying for itself and my family. Chris”

You will be surprised how good you can get in a very short space of time. Apart from learning loads on the practical side, where the course really excels is from a business standpoint. Darren has been/still is an extremely successful businessman and teaches his principles of success in a very easy to understand and clear way so that the average tiler can very quickly become a “Businessman working as a tiler” and not the other way around. I’ve been in the game for 15 years on and off and just felt it was time to re-train hence the reason for doing the course in the first place. But like I said earlier, the business aspect was a real eye opener and definitely feel that if I follow what has been taught down to a tee without deviating from the plan then work will be flowing in within a few short months. “After looking on the web for a tiling course I found one in my area but it did not have any photos of the work produced or testimonials then I came across Uk PRO TILING and read all the testimonials and looked at the photos and sent an email. Darren phoned me the same day and we spent an hour on the phone going through the course details, throughout the conversations with both Darren and Tracey they both made me feels at ease and not pressured. The first week was very intensive and hands on and by the end of the first day my confidence had sky rocketed. There was so much to learn but with Darren's teaching and guidance it has all stayed in my memory. If you are looking for a career change or even starting your own business this is the course to be on. Even when the course is finished Darren and Tracey are there to help and give advice, something which other training centres do not offer. Attending this course is one of the biggest and expensive decisions in my life and I was nervous but with UK PRO TILING training and support it has given me a new chapter in my life and my family's future.
