“Saffron Alleys delivery time was incredibly fast. Nice dispatch. Driver left it outside my front door. Packaged well. Meat quality was great I’m impressed. The only thing I would say is that the quantity/ weight of the meat was a bit on the smaller side. I have ordered from places like Healthy Halal before and their price per kg was a lot more better. That being said I probably ordered the wrong cut size option for the chicken and lamb liver. I would say Saffron Alleys quality is much more premium than most halal online outlets. Other than that very pleased with the service and quality. Would I order from them again? Yes and no. Their Mince meat options are great. On the other hand you do pay more for much less quantity. I can stock my freezer full of meat from Healthy Halal for a way less price. They just give you much more for a £100 budget range. But I do appreciate that Saffron Alley has extremely good animal well fare standards. I’ve been to farms like Willowbrook in Oxfordshire but I don’t like how they claim to be halal and tayyib but enforce prestunning in their slaughterhouse. Saffron Alley seems to be the only wholesale meat supplier who truly know what they’re doing when it comes to the halal and tayyb market. Many thanks.”

“I have placed an order from yourself numerous of time however this time it was really disappointing! I placed an order for 3 packets of 2.5cm of beef ribs and 1kg of brisket. I was hosting a dinner party and on the menu was the short beef ribs however when arrived they were anything but 2.5cm they were tiny tiny ribs same size as my fingers and sooo thin!!! Only 1 packet was edible the rest was too small! Looked like cat food. I rang saffron alley and explained what has happend. They told me to send them a email with all the pictures and explain what my issues was. It’s been now over 2 weeks nearly and no response! Won’t be ordering again!”

“I've been ordering from Saffron Alley for years now and the quality and price for Halal and Tayyib meat is the best I've found. Also the free delivery makes it better than other companies/farms. I just wish there was more free range chicken cuts instead of only whole chicken”
