"pretty new to all this\u2014crypto, wallets, exchanges. I\u2019d just made my first BTC purchase and joined a Telegram group that seemed helpful at first. Then someone DM\u2019d me claiming they were a \u201ccrypto coach.\u201d They offered to guide me through a passive income project that \u201cguaranteed returns.\u201d\r\n\r\nIt felt legit\u2026 until I realized I couldn\u2019t withdraw my money. I\u2019d sent around $3,200 in BTC and was told I had to pay another $1,000 \u201cunlock fee.\u201d That\u2019s when it hit me\u2014I\u2019d been scammed. I felt sick. I didn\u2019t even want to tell anyone because I was so ashamed.\r\n\r\nI came across a post about FRAUD SHIELD RECOVERY INC, and on a whim, I contacted them. They didn\u2019t pressure me or ask for money up front. They just asked for the wallet addresses and explained how tracing worked.\r\n\r\nLong story short: they were able to follow my BTC through several wallets and identify that some of it ended up at a major exchange. They helped file a report, and I got back about 80% of my funds."
