If that was a charge for eating in then it should of been more clear. It's a shame as upstairs in the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and nicely decorated with a lovely view. More staff training needed on how to cook food correct. I wanted to ask for a refund but felt to fed up

Fish is ok but the chips are so hard and bad, even the beef burger which just a dry bread and one piece of beef, they are all over priced, we will not visit again.

Hands down the worst chippy lunch I have ever had. £9.15 for steak pudding and chips so was expecting decent quality. Chips were dry and tasteless, and the steak pudding was tiny and horrible. Was charged something like 15p for paying by card (who on earth charges for that these days), and despite throwing 80% of the food away, felt sick the rest of the day

Chips were cold, rock hard and inedible so I had to leave them. Complete waste of money

The chips were almost cold and chewy. Not many proper chips, mostly scrappy, hard bits.

Me and the wife stayed at pooley bridge for a couple of days and decided to stop in the way home for fish and chips. The weather last Monday was the worst I think I’ve ever seen in summer we were drenched!! But this did not put us off going to v’jones for fish and chips. We had f’chips twice with peas and curry each and a tea each from the machine. The fish was ok the chips were cold which the took and changed it was just an average meal. The bill however came to 29 pound which for a weekend away I don’t mind paying, but then they charged us an extra £5.27 to eat in upstairs in a pretty average room which wasn’t nice. We had to eat in as the rain was terrential,if you go here make sure the weather is nice!!

Lovely fish and chips really tasty and not overloaded with batter. I would travel miles for the level of quality here.
