“I discovered this Gin during the first lockdown ,I was sceptical as everyone seemed to be advertising gin on social media from the orkneys to cornwall and it was hard to chose which firm to try.Having opted for Wessex I discovered a unique tasting gin ,flavoured with fine botanicals I enjoyed it so much that I found myself drinking every evening(not so good but challenging times),I got through 2 bottles on my own quite speedily so had to purchase more and thoroughly enjoyed the classic and King Arthur gins,the gooseberry looked pretty but tasted not as good as the other 2.Now I am waiting for the special first lockdown offer to return again as £30 per bottle is a bit steep for a hardworking NHS nurse on a paultry wage,I am glued to FB awaiting the offer!”
“Wessex Distillery is a very friendly local distillery just outside Witley. I would recommend the Alfred the Great gin in its distinctive blue-green bottle with the gin having a hint of citrus and botanicals. We also enjoy Wyvern's classic gin which comes in a black bottle and is an elegant London dry gin with a strong juniper hint. If you live local, you can order online and pick up directly from the distillery and, perhaps also taste some of Wessex's other speciality gins on offer.”
