“Everything, the room was swarming with flies that were landing on your food quicker than you was eating it
Tried to complain with no effect just came up with excuses
Glasses were dirty
Waiting ages for the food
We were a party of 12 and a birthday meal for 1 of us so wasn't a cheap night for us
To say there was approximately, 50,000 flies they was in no rush to clear the tables”
“Went Sunday. We ordered food at 13.15.well over an hour later still waiting. The pub was not even busy.When it did arrive no explanation or apology for the time we had waited. Food wasn't very nice at all. Had to take a drink back to the bar as it had lip stick on the glass. Will not be returning.”
“We loved our family trip to goose this week. Chloe and Mandy were absolutely lovely!
It's nice as a family to come catch up for good food that we can afford - this has been a regular thing for us but with Mandy and Chloe tonight we just had such a nice time. They're such caring staff members. Thank you so much ladies x”
“My 70th birthday fell on a Friday. For a variety of reasons I didn't want a party but agreed to a 'family meal'. It was great! We were made to feel so welcome, even though there was a lot of us. A raised section of the restaurant was set aside for us, giving us the feel of a private event. Everyone was happy, especially my Son who organised things for us. I got to spend a lot of time with those I love the most, even some from out of town, it was a really special time for all of us, so thank you to all of you. We'll be seeing you all again.”
“Visited here yesterday met up.with a friend for food and cocktails it was such a laugh from start to finish our meals was lovely we had Hunters chicken and lots of cocktails which was done and served by sue such a pleasure to have met her very friendly and bubbly she joined in the banter also we will definitely be returning 😊”
“We ordered our meals at 13.23 and we are still waiting for it to come to the table and it is currently 14.18. We approached the bar several times to ask where it was, and they informed us it would be out soon. It finally arrived at 14.19. The gammon came out burnt. Really disappointed in the service today. No apology given from any of the staff members for waiting so long”

“All our meals came out with things missing.... My meal didn't arrive until everyone else had almost finished, when I say finished, I don't mean all was eaten up, they couldn't eat it. Some was cold, some was inedible, some just didn't even resemble what it was meant to be. My mash had a hard crust on it. When I went to complain, the staff were sat at a table eating their staff meal... Hope there's was better than ours. Will not be going back.”

Ordered food on app was then told the food would be 1 hour so the kitchen said was what we got told by a small girl with dark her in a pony tail ( needs tracing on how to speak to customers so dose a red haired girl ) we asked manager if we could move tables so we could see the children in the play ground he said it was ok
At 8 still no food so we went to the bar asked where it was the red haired girl said you wasn’t at your table so we put it in the bin
We where shocked at her reply

“I visted today waited 40 mins before getting served drinks and then waited 1 hour for the food i ordered overpriced for what i pay for the food has cold the chicken was like rubber chips where cold and burnt hardly any sauce staff had no manners manger was rude.”
“Really cosy apmosphere and good food. I love grills and it's not far from my house. My fish and chips were lovely as well as my desert. Staff were very welcoming and it seemed relaxed and homely. Was a nice change and I can't wait to go again and have a burger.”
