Ok, first things first so here’s my advice… based on the appalling experience I’ve had over the last four months with this retailer, my sincere advice is to not buy ANYTHING from wingmirrorman.co.uk, or any of the the other affiliate companies run by Buy It Online Ltd (headlampsdirect.co.uk and windowregulatorman.co.uk). Ever. And take my word for it, if you do, you’d better use Paypal. Because it’s otherwise likely you will lose all your money. I ordered a £30.88 wing mirror indicator in May 2024. After it failed to show after six weeks, I cancelled the order, only for it to arrive a week later. The returns process took a ridiculous 5 months, endless calls, and massive hassle. When it became clear that the company had no intention of refunding me, I turned to Paypal who eventually reversed the payment. My final thoughts? Simply this. Steer well clear of wingmirrorman.co.uk, headlampsdirect.co.uk and windowregulatorman.co.uk, unless you have a burning desire to test your fortitude, by putting yourself through the worst online shopping experience that you’re ever likely to endure. Consider yourself warned!

1 start is about 10 too many. Ordered mirror for VW T6 on 9 July. Item in stock according to website, to be delivered Royal Mail 48h. 4 weeks and 4 weekly calls later, no sign of mirror, no response to cancellation request and no refund. The guys who answer the phone are friendly and ostensibly helpful but no actual action is taken. They basically admit that an order doesn't guarantee you a part, saying something's in stock is no guarantee that it is and that they have no idea what's coming on shipments or when, and when it arrives there's no guarantee it'll be sent out to existing pending orders. The most common refrain is "it's a popular part". The guy I was transferred to resolve a refund took offence at my understandably angry tone and threatened not to progress with the call. After being on hold for some time he did tell me the cancellation had been received and 'resent' (i.e. sent) the cancellation confirmation. Could take anything from 10 to 30 days for a refund to be issued so will spend the next few weeks watching and waiting.

Dreadful service nobody ever contacts you when you call for imformation waited 3 months from time of purchase and now hoping my bank will get my money back having filled in a cancellation form on line . When I ordered the wing mirror was in stock then they said they had lost it in the factory ,then it was suppose to be in transit from abroad just gave up ever seeing it as previous comments avoid at all costs non of the questions below apply as I didn’t get my order 😩

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear I wish I'd looked at these reviews of this company before giving them my money. Same old pattern of dishonesty - order placed, nothing received, numerous emails back and forth, numerous excuses about shipping problems and delays at port (item shown as 'in stock' when ordering )and 6 weeks later have still received nothing - I shall tomorrow approach my bank to begin a Chargeback process, flippin' great ehh! Baffling to me how Trading Standards have not shut these bandits down long ago, shocking. DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY IT IS HIGHLY LIKELY THAT YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Their web page listed a wingmirror as being in-stock with a 3-5 days to have it pained in a colour of our choice. Sounded fine so we ordered it expecting to receive it in roughly a week. Two weeks went by so we phoned, and were told it was was not in-stock, they had not ordered anything so we confirmed we wanted a refund. Two days later there was no sign of a refund. We rang again and were told refunds take roughly a week. We couldn't understand this either. We waited and chased a week later. Finally an email was sent to confirm the cancellation of the order. Exactly one week after that the money was returned. Our time was completely wasted whilst they sat on the payment, seemingly to gain interest.

Faulty Configurator and Unhelpful Customer Service I regret not researching this company more before ordering. The company's configurator provided the incorrect information, not once, but twice. I've paid for incorrect parts, paid for returns/shipping, and wasted significant time due to the website's errors. While attempting to resolve the situation, customer service was unhelpful and refused a refund on their faulty product, even though the error was caused by their incorrect website information. Additionally, I'm frustrated that they haven't updated their configurator despite knowing it's wrong and its been over a month - letting more people order the wrong part and refuse them a refund. Terrible business practice, i don't see them operating much longer as their fake positive reviews can only do so much.

Just brought a wing mirror and web site offered to spray same colour as car. And it offered to be delivered in 48 hours. Wow that’s incredible I thought. No such luck. Order on 17/1 waited and called a week later asked where it was. Item on back order due to high level of demand. Ok give benefit of doubt. Wait few more days called still no delivery will chase for you sir. Called 5/02 told item was with spray services and there was a delay due to workload. Cancelled order on web site asked for refund. Parcel arrived 14/02. Refund declined. Returned parcel and contacted credit card for reverse charge. My message look at reviews company are pants.

Believe the negative reviews. This company is beyond appalling. They will take your money knowing they can't deliver in an appropriate timeframe. Then won't refund after cancellation. Product received despite cancellation months after order which they then feel means they don't have to refund. Took them to court, they ignored it. They now have an outstanding CCJ against them. They just don't care, comms from Joshua Speed is just rude and dismissive.

Ordered a wing mirror cover that showed 'in stock dispatched next day'. A week later it hadn't arrived but was told 'just a few more days'. After another week I asked for a refund. 3 weeks later that hasn't come either. I don't think it's a scam site but the effect is the same: you pay money for goods that never turn up and neither does a refund.

Ordered a wing mirror for a Citreon which showed as in stock. Two weeks later and nothing had arrived so contacted them to ask what was going on. Told it was out of stock and might be coming in the following week. As they couldnt give any firm idea of delivery date I asked to cancel the order and have my money refunded. They stated that this could only be done by submitting an online form/ request which would result in a service fee being levied which I refused to pay given they couldnt supply the goods. The company now won't refund my money unless I agree to pay their service charge. Currently trying to recover my money via my credit card company.

I was scammed out of £160, I had to return my items I bought from them and never get a refund, tried everything even a direct email to the director of this company(Company number 10526713) Steven Michael SPEED. Beware, do not purchase anything from them.

ordered in good faith because item was shown as in stock. Didnt arrive and was then repeatedly told that it was "coming in Wednesday"! Month later, still no mirror so I ask for refund. They will not grant refund because shipment is imminent ?? Now I have to have it delivered and then request a returns form ? I wish I had read the previous reviews! Buyer beware and never again.

I had the same problem as everyone else. These are rouge traders. I've ordered the mirror over the phone, providing the VRN to ensure that the correct part was ordered, and also requested for the mirror to be sprayed. Due to being close to Christmas time and post strike I was told that the mirror would arrived within 3 weeks. I've received the mirror over 6 weeks after, and only because I kept chasing them, I also paid on the day I placed the order. They kept give me the same story, that the mirror was out of stock and there was a delay with the supplier, once the mirror was sent out to be sprayed. When I finally received the mirror and had the mirror fitted to my car I couldn't see the cars behind me. When my partner checked we realised that they sent me a mirror for a left hand drive vehicle, even though they had my registration number to be able to match the paint for the mirror. I had to contact them again and again, they asked for photos of the mirror so they could assess the situation, Ive sent them photos and they agreed that I could send the mirror back. They then sent me the same mirror again without a note and I've kept checking my bank account expecting a refund from them. When querying the situation with them once again I was told that they wouldn't refund me or send me a replacement because the mirror had already been used. I've lost my money and have been left with an mirror which is no use for any car in the UK.

Like so many here I order a mirror showing as available but was then informed it wasn't now in stock and would not b for at least two months as needed to be ordered from abroad. Therefore I might want to cancel. I went through your 'cancellation process' dealing with your very rude telephone service. Nearly two weeks later an email confirmed cancelation and told me would be 28 days before my money is returned. So you get use of my money for over a month. I will investigate and report to my Visa Credit Card Provider noting how many people have had the same experience. No, I will not go away and let you keep my money I will check every day until it is returned.

Absolutely jokers – BE WARNED! I ordered a wing mirror on 3rd April confirming that the item was in stock and that I should receive this with a 3-5 business day delivery as I also wanted the mirror sprayed. I then received an email later in the day stating the part was temporary out of stock and was due to be delivered between 17th & 23rd April. I immediately called the company to ascertain how real these dates were and was told that there should be no problems so I decided to continue with the order. As I hadn't heard anything, I called the company again on 21st April to be told that the wing mirror had arrived that morning so would immediately be forwarded to their paint spraying department and would be sent to me three business days thereafter. Again, no news so I rang the company again on 27th April only to be told that the wing mirror had not actually arrived! I was then informed that the wing mirror would arrive within the next ten days. Called the company again on 4th May to ascertain where we were with the order and was told that the wing mirror was due to arrive around the 10th May - I now started to ask for this in writing and received an email later that day confirming our conversation. 10th May - I wrote an email to the company asking confirmation that the wing mirror had finally arrived. I received a reply later that afternoon stating: The Wing Mirror unit arrived this afternoon, as there was so much stock, and it is a little late in the working day your unit would probably go to the Paint Team at some point tomorrow, then it would be 3 working days with the paint team. 11th May - I wrote another email asking for written confirmation that the wing mirror would be with me by Wednesday (17th) at the latest. At 11:58 on 11th May I received an email from the company stating that the product was out of stock and was due to be delivered 12th and 18th June!!! I then called the company in the hope that the latest email was a mistake but was told it was not...I asked to speak with Steven Speed who is a director of the company but was told he did not take calls which is hardly surprising given how these cowboys operate! A Joshua then called me, who stated that he was the business manager and tried to defend the appalling ‘service’ that I had received. Joshua, in his wisdom, said that I had not been given incorrect information and refuted the email I received from the company on 10th May (in reply to my email asking whether the wing mirror had arrived) stating “The Wing Mirror unit arrived this afternoon, as there was so much stock, and it is a little late in the working day your unit would probably go to the Paint Team at some point tomorrow, then it would be 3 working days with the paint team” actually meant the wing mirror had arrived!!!

The item wasn't in stock and they could not meet the delivery timescale. They failed (on two separate occasions) to act on my instruction to cancel the order and did not issue a refund when asked to do so. In addition, they did not cancel the order, and sent it out nearly a month after it was placed (I refused delivery having sourced the part from a legitimate company). In the end I had to raise a dispute through my credit card company to get my money back. This is either a deliberate strategy or massive incompetence. Either way, avoid.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. It seems that all the 1 star reviews are linked to refunds and the company not delivering. Ordered a part which was out of stock. They offered me a refund. Contacted them periodically to be mugged off and lied to and told refund was being processed and was being held by my bank. Obviously no such thing- they need to research into how banks work. EVENTUALLY got money back after 34 days after getting my bank involved and raising a dispute with them. Sarcastic and unhelpful members of the team. "Manager" Josh thinks it's good practice to condescend and patronise his customers, and Kirsty makes things up as she goes along and then denies she ever spoke with you (must have lots of Kirstys working in that department) If you do use this company and need a refund save yourself some time and just go through your bank as the company will not help you. Such a shame that this is my first Trust pilot review and it's so negative, however I cannot justify their complete lack of morals in processing refunds and working with customers as I feel that they just hope their customers will just give up. If I have swayed one person and saved them the ordeal of this company then this review has done its job. Have also reported to trading stands based on similar reviews on this site.

Keep away the company is a joke . They will lie to u from day one and the manager is full of it and trys to be smart however can't pull it off .Best way to get ur money back is by going though ur bank

Bought an indicator for an Audi A6 back in July, item arrived 35 days after ordering (advertised 3-5 day delivery) and was no longer required as a result. Company thinks they’re above the law and refused to accept my return. Once threatened with legal action, they accepted the return. Now I’ve returned it they won’t give an accurate timescale on the refund, so I’ve now had to escalate this to court. The “manager” if you have to deal with it is the owners son who has a surprisingly poor and condescending attitude for someone who hasn’t achieved anything in their life - Josh’s demeanour is mentioned in many reviews. Honestly, never dealt with a company like it in my entire life. Deluded. Uneducated and rude from customer service to the top. Products are poor quality from Jindong Glass in China. Stay well away and read the other reviews for your own good before ordering.

I ordered a pair of wing mirrors (order number 100005555 ) from here and on the site it said they would be 2/3 days delivery and in stock. I ordered on 20/10/22. Still not received them by the 25th I called and was told they are out of stock and wouldn't get them till earlest 7/11/22 which the sit did say they were definitely in stock. The next day I ordered from elsewhere and received the pair the identical pair as I previously ordered from here and £30 cheaper too. I called to cancel ( as the lady said to find another supplier first ) and I'm still waiting for my card to be remburst. Just think it's a very poor service and was not my fault too and the mirrors weren't even posted so no returns to be made. You would expect to be remburst straight away with wingmirrorman saying they were in stock on their site. Their mistake so they should act immediately to remburse my card. No at all happy with the service they provided and still waiting ????
