“If they are so great...why haven't they published my book? They've had my manuscript going on one year. Not only that...they keep sending a cop of my book cover with the name of another author printed on the front page and a picture of myself and my bio on the back page. What is so wonderful concerning this company? I have asked for a refund but I am wasting my time. So disappointed!”

“They never refunded my money. I am out $2400. Back in September they refunded $1000 of the $3500 I sent them. There was only a small/incomplete/ and unacceptable amount of work completed. They instantly took my money and told me not to worry, because they offered a 100% money back guarantee. It's on their website and they both the salesman and project manager offered verbal assurances. They even told the AG office of Brooklyn NY, when I filed a claim, the money would be refunded by October 25. They have not been forthcoming. This has been going on since July 12, 2024. They have not communicated with me since December 3, which was an attachment they had already sent me from October 2024.”

“They promised me a full refund if I signed up with them. It didn't work out and I notified them within 3 days. That was three months ago and they have yet to refund my money. The advertise 100% Money Back Guarantee. They don't seem to have business license on file with the state of New York. I have received $1000 of the $3500 I paid them.”

“I contacted Book Writing Maestros in March. I was quoted $1,300 to have my book published. After sending the money...I was then quoted $7,500. I told them I don't have that money...that I was a senior depending on my monthly SSI check to survive. I received another call asking for $5,000. Agan, I explained that I didn't have that money available. That caller, June Smith, stopped calling me and send my info to another caller by the name of Lisa Clinton. Each time Lisa called, she would connect me to another caller begging for more money. My blood pressure was rising from so much drama! I had to block the calls. Please beware of scammers lying about publishing your book when all they want is to put a hole in your pocket! Do more research before paying any publishing company. Look for red flags! It took me so long to raise that $1,300 😞😓😩”
