“I have been planting Colorblends tulip bulbs for over a decade. Their bulbs are large and healthy and the results are spectacular! I plant in pots on my deck. Because I live in California I pre-chill the bulbs for 8-12 weeks, plant, enjoy watching the little green tips emerge from the soil and every subsequent inch!!! Then the buds appear and soon there is a glorious flush of color. Optimism on the hoof! I even enjoy watching the inevitable death of these flowers. The petals fall off one by one and blow away leaving memories of the birth of Spring! And they have the best prices I have found! I give them away as gifts to my family who also enjoy and anticipate their arrival each year.”

Planting in pots, plus pre-chill, requires extra care and extra work, but with over a decade of experience you have certainly put in your time.
