“Good service - next day delivery. Frozen turkey breast, I cooked on Xmas day and served at room temperature. Would prefer to serve hot in future. Was concerned as the 'use by date' was 24 November, 2024 which did cause me concern - however I thought it would be okay to eat as only 1 month overdate and frozen.”
Thanks for taking the time to review! Just wanted to reassure you that the frozen turkey breast was indeed very fresh and not out of date. Our team accidentally printed the Use By Date as if it were a fresh product, when in fact being frozen meant it had many months shelf life in the freezer. “Our first taste of Gourmet dinners was a mixed one. Some were good, but I felt they lacked enough salt. The lasagne was a disappointment. It was not a nice soft texture, the meat lacked salt and I would have liked more bechamel sauce. My milcrowave doesn't have a defrost on it and so I found leaving them to defrost over the day and heating them from thawed worked better”
“The meals for 1 are so great. I've been struggling cooking especially working double shifts. My friend recommended GDS and I needed a better option than uber eats. My expectations were low due to previously average experiences with ready to eat meals, but GDS has been so great, each meal has been surprisingly tasty, and satisfying just as though it was a home cooked meal. I'm going to be keeping a stash of these every month in the freezer for the nights when I can't be bothered cooking. I accidentally ordered a bunch of the dietlicious meals not reading the tags properly but they're so tasty and filling so I'm not disappointed at all.”
