“I have periodic outbreaks of Oral Lichen Planus with subsequent squamative Gingivitis. I use Betamethasone oral mouthwash for the Lichen Planus and tried mouthwashes for Gingivitis which burn my tongue and mouth. I tried your mouthwash Vitis Gingival for sensitive mouths but unfortunately, it still burns my mouth, not as much as Corsodyl, but almost as much. I feel rather disappointed that I'm unable to find something suitable to improve the Gingivitis. Any useful information or tips would be welcome.”

VITIS Gingival is formulated as a daily use product for individuals who suffer from gingivitis and/or sensitive gums, but is not indicated for auto-immune diseases such as Lichen Planus. In these instances we would recommend Gengigel Mouthrinse as a preventative for both LP and gingivitis (or Gengigel First Aid Oral in the case of a flare up). Both products are based on high molecular weight hyaluronic acid which is already present in periodontal tissue and has no reported advise indications.
