“We Love Owens Coffee and have a subscription so we can enjoy it uninterrupted. It is always fresh roasted when we buy it so we can enjoy it at its best. We don't drink anything else.”

“These are some of the best coffees we have had. The decaf is decaffeinated with spring water rather than chemicals. All our friends want more than one cup, some already know and others ask which make of coffee do you have..”

“Ordering is quick and easy. Owens' communications are good so that I knew when my order had been dispatched and when it was due for delivery. I've tried several different varieties of coffee from Owens, and finnally decided that Baya is my favourite. So I was delighted to find that it is available in 1kg bags. I do wish the 1kg bag had a reseal top to it as do the 200g and 100g, though. I'm usually the only coffee drinker in the house and it is a challenge therefore to keep ground coffee fresh without a way of expelling surplus air and sealing the packet. I would also like to know how to recycle the coffee bags. These two points are why I have given 4 instead of 5 stars for what is otherwise an excellent product.”

Thank you for your feedback Suzanne! It's great to know that you love the coffee and our comms, and really useful to know how we can improve for you. You can currently recycle the bags with your supermarket carrier bags. That said, we have been listening to our customers for some time now at the same time as keeping an eye on what is available packaging-wise on the market. As a result, the team has spent a lot of time this year working on a packaging review. We aren't ready to launch yet (there is much to consider to make the packaging more sustainable whilst balancing the need to maintain freshness and quality of the product and to check the validity of supplier claims), but watch this space!

“I regularly buy a 1kg bag of ground coffee, usually Baya, which we love to have at breakfast. I honestly think it's the best coffee around! The staff are always very pleasant and engaging and represent the business well. The new coffee shop seems always busy when I go there, and I've found it a good RV point to meet friends, with free parking. I'm still not sure about the naming of the coffee shop, Perfect Waves. I didn't see how the separate branding would help. Everyone I know calls it Owens Coffee Shop. Anyway, keep up the good work.”

“It's the best rounded full flavoured 'wake up juice' we have experienced. My husband has chronic migraine, so it's very hard for him to start the day,bur after atleast 3 mugs of your coffee he says 'the fog has cleared'.”

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the packaging for our coffee. We are pleased to lconfirm that we have spent a lot of time this year doing a complete review of our packaging. We haven't quite got to the point of launching it yet (there is a lot to consider to make it both more sustainable without affecting coffee quality and we need to ensure that the supply chain's claims are valid for our customers), but watch this space!
