“I bought the gorgeous Majestic Skirt suit in Quail brown. The fabric is so soft and you would think it was a bespoke item as it fits so beautifully well. Can’t wait to get an opportunity to wear it.”

“I fell in live with the Harmony dress last year and my wardrobe soon home to the one in green. It was only a matter of time before the black one joined it. Such beautiful dress, my fav over my others - it is great quality, sits well, can be worn for a shopping drip as well as that summer party: so versatile and very, very reasonably priced unlike other vintage clothes companies. Big thanks to RV, long may they reign! Good luck with the move and MORE Harmony dresses PLEASEEE!”

“Well tailored and true to style trousers. Regretfully arrived in plastic bag so badly creased looked more like a bundle of rags. Nightmare to sort as whoever had originally pressed them must have had eyes closed, front seams completely wrong. Really not what one expects for £90 expenditure and begs question of who cares about quality and reputation at seller.”

Hello, thank you for your feedback. It's disappointing to hear you were unhappy with how the product arrived. We do aim to use environmentally friendly packaging, so our product packaging bags are fully recyclable and our mailer bags are compostable. We do take great pride in our products, but unfortunately, the way the trousers are handled by couriers once they leave us is outside our control, and sometimes wrinkling is unavoidable. We do also deliberately select fabrics that are easy to care for by customers. I'm glad to hear you still liked the tailoring and design of the trousers.

“I bought the 3-piece linen suit. The jacket was a bit small (especially with the waistcoat underneath) so I phoned in for advice and was very pleased with the help and consideration I received. I ended up buying the next-size up jacket and then returned the smaller one. Very satisfactory all round, and really pleased I found the Revival Vintage store. Many thanks!”

“The suit I pre-ordered and loved the look off , came today. The quality did not disappoint , however the fit or rather my body with that fit did. A bigger size will not even remedy the problem so sadly I must return it and remember that my stomach is too big for a style like that. Kind regards, Tineke”

“Great site, bought a fantastic Harris tweed jacket in my regular size that allows a little room to swing my arms, but the jacket - though labelled as a 42" chest - fitted like a 46, more like an overcoat. Luckily, it's easy to return, sadly no other size seems available.”

Customers choose to wear these thick wool jackets in different ways so we do try to size them with some ease, unfortunate that it didn't work out this time. Our Harris jackets are all true vintage so our stock is based on what we're able to source.

“I bought the harmony dress and yellow cardigan. So glad I did. The dress is lovely and fits well as does the cardigan. These were bought for a 1940s event in June. Delivery was quick. Revival has lovely clothes at a good price.”

“Excellently designed vintage menswear at an excellent price point! I particularly like the mixed fibre suits because they are extremely comfortable in all weather, a great day to day option for those who dress vintage every day . The mixed fibre suits also wash in the machine on a cool wash which is excellent when wearing daily and saves on steep dry cleaning bills ! Mark and Helene are lovely and thoughtful. This is one of my favourite retailers for vintage inspired clothing and I would highly recommend.”

“I don’t “like” my retro work jeans; I LOVE ❤️ THEM!!!!! They have everything I wanted in old school pants - button fly, cinch back, high waist, suspender buttons, baggy fit, and rolled cuffs. The denim is EXTREMELY comfortable and not at all stiff. Communication with Ben was great and they arrived in Derby, CT USA from the UK in TWO DAYS!!!!!! To sum it all up - SWEET!!!!!!”

“Lovely shirt for my husband, nice fabric. A little snug over his stomach, so didn’t quite get the look he was after, so maybe size up gents if you’re fuller around the middle . Definitely recommend though as really nice quality ❤️”

“Well I purchased a Fairisle waistcoat and had to return it ,I ordered a xxl which is a standard size for all my tops Levi’s ,Fat Face ECT the itself was excellent quality fabulous material and a brilliant looking item ,sadly let down by size I would call it Large at best I think you would have to be in the program. The Borrowers. To get a shame as I really liked it conclusion buyers beware as it cost £9 to send back”

Hi Alan, thanks for your feedback. We do try our best to provide detailed measurements of our clothing in the description, as unfortunately a 2XL will mean different things at different shops. I'd always advise consulting our measurements and then measuring yourself to compare in future. We did check the returned piece of knitwear in case it was an error on our end and found it to be accurate to our sizing charts. Disappointing that it didn't work out this time but thanks for your kind words about the quality. Cheers!
