“For quality, comfort and looks best socks purchased in many years.”

“Placed an order for two styles of socks. I received good communication giving me options when one of the styles was to be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. The first style arrived very quickly and the second style arrived a little later once the issue was sorted. I was kept up to date at all stages of the purchase until delivery. Thanks. The socks themselves are really well made and very comfortable. They have washed well too. Overall very pleased with my socks and the level of service. Would definitely recommend The Yorkshire Sock Company and I will be using them again.”

“I used the sizing guide to order the correct sock size but unfortunately, when they arrived, they were much too large for me. When I enquired about a return, I received awful customer service from the "Chief Knitter". I explained that I'd like to request a refund due to the socks not fitting and her response was "They will fit well as long as you ordered correctly" and that they've been around for 100 years and because so, I must have been wrong about my shoe size. Their rude response was offputting and surprising. If you're not sure if these socks are right for you, I would recommend not bothering and ordering from another more helpful and polite company. What a shame.”

Hi Rose, I have checked our communication with you, apologies if you felt it was rude, I read it with a Yorkshire accent and it seemed pretty fair and helpful. Still no excuses if the socks were ordered correctly and you felt they were too big, send them back and we can send a smaller size or refund you, no problems. We manufacture in the UK strictly to British Standard Shoe Sizes, our socks fit pretty well compared to most, so unless we put an incorrect sticker on they should fit. If we made a mistake we apologise. Get in touch with us again and we will try not to be too 'Yorkshire'
