“My 17-year-old son had partially lost his concentration and motivation for IB Math. Thanks to Meera, the underlying causes were identified, and alongside highly professional subject support, well-prepared learning sessions, and an extremely positive approach, the joy of learning was rediscovered and further developed. Meera is an excellent tutor who is reliable, flexible with scheduling, and communicates professionally, ensuring that everything agreed upon is delivered precisely. “We are working on a 2 month ISEE prep cycle for my son who is in seventh grade. We found the tutor helpful, patient and able to work across test components. She was also able to provide many materials to continue practice throughout the holiday season. One area where we could strengthen the approach is to become more focused on scoring through various sections of the test, time management tips.”

“I have been struggling with maths and chemistry since the beginning of the school year, and have recently decided to ask for some help from a tutor. My sister recommended TutorPlus to me, telling me they really helped her get through year 9-11. Over the past few weeks, Andrea has improved my understanding of maths (a subject that I take in French). Although we have not yet worked on chemistry (a subject that I take in English), I am confident that she will guide me through the areas I don't yet comprehend. We get along well and I truly feel comfortable asking her to elaborate or re-explain something if needed. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to achieve better grades in maths/scientific subjects and needs someone patient and motivating helping them in either English or French.”

“I would like to express my deep appreciation for the teachers Steve (Math), Adam (Economics) and Shamiela (English Literature) for helping my son, Nikolaus, in IB. Math became an increasingly challenging subject for him in the past few years even before IB started because difficult concepts left unclarified affected his foundation. With Steve's very patient and focused one-on-one help, he has become more confident and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would like to commend that all three teachers take the time to give a useful summary after each lesson, as well as constructive and encouraging feedback on his progress and the objectives for the next lesson. I feel immensely grateful and reassured that Nikolaus is in good hands. Thank you!”

“Our daughter moved from a French school to do the IB DP and struggled with Chemistry. We got superb guidance from Tutor'sPlus as we explored our choices to ensure a good match. Ayse has been fantastic in every way: her depth of knowledge and style of teaching- supportive yet challenging and building confidence; her adaptability when schedules got wobbly and working in true partnership with our daughter. This is what our child needed. Her improved grades are testament to that- moving from a 4 to a 6 in 3 months! And the knowledge is embedded as our daughter now better understands the subject and is not just prepared to pass an exam. Our family is grateful to Ayse and I recommend her without reservation.”

“Andrea is an amazing math and physics tutor who really helps me understand concepts in a way I couldn’t before. We started off with math last year but since we started my grades in math have improved substantially to the point where we mostly focus on physics due to it being the main area of struggle at the moment. Overall I could not recommend Andrea enough and it’s been great having her as a tutor.”

“We have positive experience with TutorsPlus tutors, both with ad hoc help and regular tutoring for various IB subjects. For HL subjects, Stela has been excellent for Chemistry HL, explaining challenging topics, boosting confidence and supporting progress. Maja for Physics HL is a great motivator for exam revision. We would recommend both.”

“Sara has been a terrific tutor for my 17-year-old son in IB economics. She reviews the material in a manner that is easy to understand and fosters a positive learning environment. My son's ability to comprehend the material has increased greatly since Sara has been assisting him. His grades show that as well. Also Sara is always accessible for questions. “As a parent of 2 IB students, I highly recommend MEJRIMA to any parent whose child is struggling in maths or perhaps seeking to improve their grades and enhance their understanding of the various topics. Thanks to Mejrima, grades for both of my daughters steadily improved, and both girls have gained a newfound confidence in their mathematically abilities. MEJRIMA has played an instrumental role in helping my 2 daughters in Grades 11 and 12 (last year and this year) significantly, resulting in massively improved grades. Their grades were far from where they wanted them to be, and they both lacked the confidence to tackle challenging topics in mathematics. Mejrima is a professional, always fully prepared and works through the syllabus with an expert and precise attention to detail. Each session is logical, following on from the last until the topic is fully understood made certain by testing, homework tasks and providing additional resources, though at the same time she can change direction and review work that is causing difficulty and hindering progression, as well as preparation for upcoming exams. She is as flexible as she can be with her time slots due to her popularity but is always accommodating. I cannot recommend MEJRIMA highly enough as a maths tutor, she was our saving grace, not alone for my daughters but for me as a parent who felt helpless seeing my distressed daughters struggling with this subject. I shall be forever grateful to you Mejrima. A never-ending THANK YOU. Ann”

“Natalie has helped me so much with biology and brought me to a level where I can now understand everything I am being taught instead of being completely clueless and struggling. “My tutor Suheir Sleiman has been the best IB biology teacher I’ve ever had. With her, lessons that used to be confusing have become so clear, my Biology grades have gone from 2/7 to 6/7 in little time, and she always keeps a positive energy when teaching. It is a pleasure to have lessons with Suheir and I always look forward to our sessions! For Biology, Suheir first explains the lesson in detail, then answers any questions I have and also makes me do practice exercises which is all I could ever ask for. She is a lovely teacher, with high professionalism and enthusiasm!”

“My tutor, Saleh Ghoneim, was the best tutor I have had for my IB French course. He was always prepared for the lessons and made sure to make the activities interactive and beneficial. He was always open to changes in the lesson dynamic to make sure I gained the most knowledge I could though reading, writing, speaking and listening exercises. He is kind, hardworking and cares alot about the quality of tutoring he provides.”
