Part is very reasonably priced and arrived just 1 day after placing the order.
I could not use the reinforcing insert on the left hand side of the pipe as after cutting the pipe as instructed , the 'pig's tail ' , slightly curved section of the pipe didn't allow the reinforcing insert to seat full home resulting in a small leak on that side of the noint. I made the joint without it and the resulting seal was good - no leaks after bleeding the system. Still working fine two weeks later.
This repair took around half a day and saved a garage bill of around £600.
Make sure you have all the correct tools required as shown in the very good 'how to ' video. This makes the job relatively straight forward for any competent home mechanic.”
