“Let's get the disappointment out of the way first. I wanted to buy a (second-hand) camera body only, but WYC refused point-blank to split it from the accompanying standard lens (despite having several other lensless bodies on offer which it would fit). The irony is that I had bought a standard lens for that make, on its own, from WYC a few months ago. So now I have two... Whinge over. The camera was honestly and thoroughly described, beautifully packed (thank you Emmie - love the drawings) and promptly delivered. And I'm thoroughly enjoying using it!”

“I’ve shopped online at West Yorkshire Cameras for a while now without problems. Recently - and for the first time ever- I had to return an order because a fault had been overlooked in the description. Having paid for the expedited (courier) service and never having returned anything to anyone before I wasn’t looking forward to doing this. But Howard sent a QR code that I showed at my local Post Office, a label was printed and I had a picture of my parcel sitting on the counter at WYC some 20 hours later. By the following afternoon the refunds had been authorised by Emmie, processed and was back in my account. Which was a good thing, because that night I bought something else from WYC.”

“I bought an EOS 50 camera body from outlet. The purpose was to extract the camera back locking mechanism for my otherwise immaculate camera. I didn’t want to use the aftermarket mechanisms, which are not an exact fit and require you to glue on the electrical contact. The outcome was perfect and I also found a new battery in addition saving more money (I did need one). I am really pleased, the money outlay was much less than the alternative and excellent value. The entire service from the shop was excellent and I have no reservations in using services again. Sorry, I didn’t write a review the first time I was asked however the fact that I have been asked again shows how keenly the team need to know the value of their service. Thanks all!”

“So helpful and lovely to chat to. Helped me with an order over the phone that wasn’t going through online and got everything sorted super quick.
