First impressions are very good.(see photos) and this is the third batch of Heuga carpet tiles we have laid in our dining room in the 32years it has been built. The first lasted 24 years and the second only eight years ( main problem was fading due to sunlight.) This latest batch, fitted myself earlier this week, appeared to have a thinner backing than the tiles taken up so I would question whether they will see out the fifteen year warranty. Time will tell. My wife and I have always believed in buying quality flooring and would have paid more for longevity but we have been told by carpet salesmen that manufacturers are constantly striving to maintain prices by reducing quality. I do hope that this fitting does not not bear this out as its predecessor appears to have done.
